Subaru North Tampa really did an outstanding job finding us the right Subaru to fit our needs. They made our car buying experience very low stress and went out of their way to accommodate our requirements! us the right Subaru to fit our needs. I was in the market to purchase a new car and trade my existing car in. I received a quote ($15k higher than what I wanted to spend) via text/email from Subaru of North Tampa so I told them I would look existing car in. I received a quote ($15k higher than what I wanted to spend) via text/email from Subaru of North Tampa so I told them I would look elsewhere because we were too far off. They asked what I wanted to spend and I told them. There was no response until I received a call from a sales manager that evening, dropping the price by about $10k. He said if I brought in my trade, they may be able to give me more money for it but this was the best they could do. After visiting another dealership the next morning, I decided to drive up to Subaru of North Tampa because they trade value given was significantly higher than my initial quote. My original sales person wasn’t available so they set me up with Jesse. He was the only positive about my experience with this dealership. I told him where I wanted to be and let him know I had plans for dinner than evening so I could only stay a couple hours. They worked up some prices, the first of which being the same figure I was previously told over the phone. The second offer was a couple thousand lower. After saying no to each, they made an offer of $22,900 which I agreed to. I made an appointment come back the following day at 4pm. I arrived at 3:30 and met with my (original) sales person since Jesse had the day off. The first figure they showed me on the contract was $22,999. It was only $100 but I asked about it since I understood it to be $22,900. He said he would ask but the sales manager would tell me to leave since they made a deal way under what they should have. I questioned this and he walked out without allowing the discussion saying he would have someone look. Next, a new sales manager (maybe director) walks in with an updated contract for $22,900 and asked if I had any questions. Nope, just want to buy the car and get out of there. My financing was completed online the prior evening to make this process quicker. They took me to the finance offer about 4pm and said they people waiting were ahead of me but they would do their best to make it quick. After a little while, one couple walks into financing and a new couple walk in. They wait about 10 minutes and then walk back to the sales building. When they come back, they are taken into the finance office (ahead of me). I wait more. I am told by several employees that it won’t be much longer. At 6pm, I am told I am next and it should only be another 15 minutes. At 6:15, a new person walks into financing (he is the sales manager that originally called me). I go over to ask when it was my turn since I had been skipped over by at least once person and had been waiting two hours. They said they were in the process of bringing someone else over but could bump me ahead of them if I wanted. I told them I just wanted my place in line, which had not happened and I wasn’t happy about it. They said I could cancel the deal if I wasn’t happy. Again, I am not happy but also want to buy a car and wanted to understand why I kept getting skipped over. Again, I can cancel my deal if I am not happy. After a few seconds of pondering the decision and my time investment, I decided to cancel the deal. No one reached out to me, including my sales person, about this experience and how things were handled. I would not recommend anyone to buy from this dealership. To drag me along for hours and tell me I can cancel if I am not happy is not acceptable in my opinion. Not to mention, the original commend about being told to leave because I was asking about the pricing that was agreed on the night before. This dealer gets an F minus in my book. More
Excellent customer service and up to date communications. They listened, explained options well and provided fair solutions. They listened, explained options well and provided fair solutions. More

The service department is very polite and they try to help. But when I took my vehicle in for a simple oil change on Mar 6th, they made mistakes. Many settings were changed on the vehicle, like tire pres help. But when I took my vehicle in for a simple oil change on Mar 6th, they made mistakes. Many settings were changed on the vehicle, like tire pressure monitoring. Then, I noticed they broke my glovebox door when inspecting the cabin filter. But mistakes happen and the dealership will make them right, I'm sure. But what is completely not acceptable is their lack of courtesy when it comes to their communication with me. First I have to say Andy, the service manger, did return my call, but I missed it. Now I did leave him a message to try me again and he never did. Now even today, Wed Mar 22, I called my service rep, Brandon, twice and asked him to call me back; no luck there either. I made many calls and attempts to talk with someone about my complaint and it wasn't any fun. This dealership has a very poor phone system and communication policy and it shouldn't be so difficult to connect with someone. If I had a dime for every time I was told "I'm away from my desk please leave a message and I'll get back with you" I would be a rich man! This dealership will not be servicing any of my vehicles in the future. I actually was thinking of buying a second Subaru, but I'm glad for this experience, because I'll be purchasing one at a different dealership. More
Worst dealership I've ever dealt with! I bought my 2018 ford fusion in June and have had nothing but issues with it since the beginning. I try to reach out and nobody responds.
