Some things just aren’t adding up since the change of ownership last year. I’m not going into full detail because it’s way too much to type, but there was definitely negligence on the dealership’s part a ownership last year. I’m from 3 generations of mechanics. I got a second opinion on something this last time around (from another Subaru dealership) because I knew something was not right, and basically Subaru of north Tampa incorrectly diagnosed a major issue (which was caused from their own negligence and actually did something they weren’t supposed to do) as well as gave me a WAY overpriced quote for one or two services, trying to replace a larger part than needed. Also promised me an actual Subaru loaner this time around (and even scheduled it) after I complained about the enterprise stuff from our last visit (I bought my car here and I signed a loaner car contract). I arrived and they were like oh yeah we don’t have any, we’ll call you an enterprise rental. So I had to sit and wait even longer and put my own deposit down again. Subaru should be footing the deposit authorization bill, not me. Also even despite very good service from enterprise, they are still rental cars and they aren’t Subarus and they always smell weird. More
