I recently drove to Subaru of Las Vegas for my 45,000 mile service on my beloved 2011 Impreza WRX STi hatch back sports car. The service is a little pricey at the dealership (as it is for most dealerships), but I gladly pay it vs my local tire & lube shop. The technical expertise and knowledge of Subaru's systems is excellent, you know they don't cut corners, and they stand by their work. The attached tuning shop Zenkai Motorsports has also been invaluable to me over the past few years making my car into my dream machine. While waiting for service to finish working on my STi, I purchased a second vehicle from Subaru of Las Vegas, and made several changes to the order - some of which were difficult to work, and potentially costly to the dealership. My salesman Keenan Meyers was patient, knowledgeable, and professional. Keenan and the general manager, Burton Hughes, went out of their way to help me out with the customization of the vehicle and throughout the process of ordering. I have seen this level of professionalism, skill, and attitude of genuine customer service toward each and every customer. I would also like to highlight Mike and Mo from Zenkai Motorsports, Ken from parts, April, Brandy, and Steve from service. They make their customers feel like family. More
Although a fairly new sales rep, Jeff knew the Subaru products well. We bought a 2013 Forester through him and Keenan. Their knowledge and demonstration of the vehicle were impressive and definitely he products well. We bought a 2013 Forester through him and Keenan. Their knowledge and demonstration of the vehicle were impressive and definitely helpful to us. We are previous Forester owners and were somewhat familiar with the new Forester. They patiently worked through the details of the sale and were helpful in providing the necessary information for our loan company. More
I have no clue what these other folks are talking about with regard to their negative experiences at Subaru of Las Vegas, because it doesn't remotely resemble my experience. I was thoroughly impressed with with regard to their negative experiences at Subaru of Las Vegas, because it doesn't remotely resemble my experience. I was thoroughly impressed with this dealership's General Manager, Burton Hughes. In my opinion he is the real deal and treats his customers and his employees with courtesy and respect. Heck, I observed (without him knowing) how nice he was to the lady running the coffee cart and the detail guy. In my experience as a leader, how you treat "the little guy" says a lot about someone's character and leadership. Burton bent over backwards to make our used car purchase work for us. He answered every question I had, explained everything very thoroughly so there were no surprises, and processed our sale in a very timely manner. We had a tight and firm budget as to what we could afford in a monthly car payment. We went to 4-5 other well-known and reputable dealerships in the LV Valley and nobody worked with us like Burton did. All the other dealerships told us that it would be extremely difficult to find a quality used car with the age and mileage requirements our pre-approved loan set for us, one that would seat our family of six. One sales rep at Findlay Honda thought I was bluffing on our set monthly price for a car payment and despite all his wrangling could not find anything to work for us. Burton hooked us up with a 2007 Ford Explorer XLT (seats seven!) with only 52,000 miles that was "medicinally clean", just as he told me on the phone. We test drove the vehicle and loved it. Burton encouraged us to submit a credit app with Subaru of LV since they work with a variety of lenders. Sure enough, we were able to secure financing through one of the lenders that far exceeded what our credit union's pre-approved loan could give us. And to top it off, our new monthly car payment came in $5 under the firm and strict amount we had budgeted! Thank you God! I would highly recommend Subaru of Las Vegas for your automotive needs. Even if you are not interested in a Subaru, since this dealership is part of the Findlay Automotive Group (www.findlayauto.com), you can find the vehicle you like at one of the 21 dealerships and buy it through Subaru of LV and work with their staff. All you do is get the vehicle's Stock # and give it to the Subaru of LV sales staff. They buy it from the dealership and you get to work with Subaru of LV's sales staff. Make sure to check out Findlayauto.com's website, it's very easy to use and you can pinpoint exactly what you want. We used it extensively during our hunt for a used car. More
Great experience from start to finish. Went in to the dealership, just planning to look around. Allen didn't put any pressure on me and was very knowledgable about subarus product lines. I ended up buy dealership, just planning to look around. Allen didn't put any pressure on me and was very knowledgable about subarus product lines. I ended up buying a new outback that same day. I will definitely go back for my next vehicle. More
My wife an I were browsing dealer websites and found a used Honda Odyssey on the Subaru of Las Vegas site. We went in later on that night to look at the vehicle. John informed us that the vehicle had ju used Honda Odyssey on the Subaru of Las Vegas site. We went in later on that night to look at the vehicle. John informed us that the vehicle had just been detailed and hadn't even been brought up with the other used cars. John brought the van up front for us to see and we immediately knew it was for us. We were worried that we wouldn't be able to take the car that night because it was so late but John stayed with us after hours so we could finish the paperwork. When we told John about our trade in he appraised it himself and even gave us a little bit more than what I expected to get. Thanks to John staying late for us my wife happily drive her new car home that night. More
Be very wary of this dealership. They quoted me an amount for my trade in that turned out to include my own state sales tax rebate from my trade! It was all spelled out in the sales contract. But I didn't se for my trade in that turned out to include my own state sales tax rebate from my trade! It was all spelled out in the sales contract. But I didn't see the deception until I got home(my bad). They told me they'd give me $18250 for my old car. It turns out that they gave me $16900 for my trade and added the $1368.90 Trade-in Sales Tax Credit from my old car to come up with the figure of 18268.90 for my trade in amount! I actually got $16900. for my trade! Also they calculated the trade-in sales tax credit credit from my old car based on $16900. Not the $18250 I was quoted. Make sure that you ask to see the sales contract and understand all the figures before you sign anything! Be sure that the amount they quote you for a trade doesn't include the tax rebate on the old car! More
I bought a new outback from this dealership and I am blown away at how terrible the customer service and professionalism is at this dealership. It started with them calling me in at the end of the month blown away at how terrible the customer service and professionalism is at this dealership. It started with them calling me in at the end of the month asking for my down payment before delivery of the car (threatening that the financing would fall through). Then they kept no record of the lifetime oil change service I purchased. So at my scheduled maintenance, they were questioning me. In the end I had to provide documentation, because they don't know what a file cabinet is used for. I would strongly recommend going elsewhere to purchase a Subaru. Great car, horrible dealership. They don't deserve any business. More
From out of town, stopped by to have a headlight pigtail replaced. They quoted me $150 for it, which I guess is normal for ridiculous dealer markups. I made the mistake of informing the service department replaced. They quoted me $150 for it, which I guess is normal for ridiculous dealer markups. I made the mistake of informing the service department that I was considering putting in HID lights. They offered me a terrible kit, that even one of the sales members said don't buy. I was actually impressed with the honesty from the sales department. However, I now receive calls from them once a week, trying to sell me on this piece of crap HID kit, even though I live 500 miles away. They won't stop calling, despite the number of times I have asked them to. I will be taking them to court over harassment. More
I thought I would give this dealer a chance, since they are local, although there never seems to be any customers in the showroom. I soon learned why there aren't any customers..they tried to sell me a bas are local, although there never seems to be any customers in the showroom. I soon learned why there aren't any customers..they tried to sell me a base Forester for 2k over MSRP and then attempted to con me into a 38% interest rate! That's not typo..38% They wouldn't tell me the real rate. I calculated it when I got home. They wanted me to pay close to 40k for what should be a 22k car. Unfortunately, they aren't the exception to the rule, since every dealer that I've been to in Las Vegas play the same games. There just isn't enough competition. I was able to get a much, much better deal by contacting a few Subaru dealers in Colorado. Even with shipping, the savings are close to 4k. More
