I talked to John over months, as I was not really a hot, ready-to-buy customer, and he properly just occasionally reached out to see if I was interested...again, never in a manner that was too much, just occasionally...until it just so happens that everything aligned just right, with a good, negotiated price on a car optioned exactly as I wanted that arrived on the lot. From there, the negotiation and final price was again very up front and straightforward. Also nice words for Johnny Poole for the finalized negotiation, and Travis Holtzclaw. At the time of this posting, the dealership was very busy on the weekend with a lot of interested customers, so if you go on a Saturday, I would plan appropriately regarding time. Overall, I would have to rate this purchase as the best car buying/transaction experience I've had in the past 40 years...the previous ones being from non-Subaru dealerships; this is my first Subaru purchase ever.
