Always kind, courteous and helpful My appointment time was met, my car serviced and washed with little or no extra waiting. Customer lounge was clean and neat with adequate work areas. I was greeted promptly by my service technician and the service on my car was explained in detail. A loud "shout out" to my salesman, Juan, who was so patient with me in the blistering sun while we went over my endless questions about indicator lights and other "buttons" and what they do. Excellent Service I was traveling home from Mayo Clinic and happened to look at my mileage and realized I needed an oil changed. I pulled into Subaru of JAX and right I was traveling home from Mayo Clinic and happened to look at my mileage and realized I needed an oil changed. I pulled into Subaru of JAX and right into the Service department. I was greeted by 2 Service personnel who asked a few questions and also recommended new wipers since its the rainy season here in North Florida. They recommended a local restaurant and the vehicle was completed before I returned. Service while you eat! Never had this kind of quick and thorough service from a dealership and I have and will continue to recommend Subaru of JAX to anyone looking for a great car with great Service. More
Pleased Experienced a transmission issue with my 2011 Outback with 80k miles while our running errands with wife. I was able to get it to Subaru of Jacksonvi Experienced a transmission issue with my 2011 Outback with 80k miles while our running errands with wife. I was able to get it to Subaru of Jacksonville where I was meet by a friendly service agent. He asked us to give him about 10 minutes to diagnose the problem and would get back with us. About 10 minutes later he came back and said it was a transmission issue and asked me to come to the service desk where he turned me over to a service writer. Expecting an expensive bill, I was quite surprised when he said my transmission was covered under warranty. xxxxxxto Subaru! What made Subaru of Jacksonville stand out is that the service writer offered me a loaner car and my wife and I were back out running our errands in less than 25 minutes! The next day, my Outback was fixed and when I went to turn in and pick up my car, I was in and out in less than 10 minutes. I have always said service should be “Quick, Effective and Efficient “. Subaru of Jacksonville certainly meet those expectations and exceeded them with their friendly staff. Well done! More

Terrible customer service My 2017 Subaru’s electrical system just died one morning 2.5 years after purchase, while still under warranty. We jump started the car and took it to My 2017 Subaru’s electrical system just died one morning 2.5 years after purchase, while still under warranty. We jump started the car and took it to the dealer. They said they checked everything and the battery was fine. It would not start again within a week. This time they said it was the battery. So we had it replaced. It died again within a week and this time could not be jump started. We had it towed to the dealer. The service manager Russell, promised a loaner vehicle on the phone but told us that he did not have one to offer when we arrived. He then said it was a software update issue but he could not update the software if the battery was dead. He also said he did not have another battery to give us and told us to go to Advane Auto Parts to get a new battery for the car. After we gave them a new battery, he installed it and updated the software. We asked him to hold on to the car for a few days to see if the problem was truly resolved and he declined. The car has again died with a week, and we now have to pay $69 to tow it to Subaru of Orange Park to see if they can fix it. Bottom line: The service team at Subaru of Jacksonville has been rude, lazy, and incompetent in this matter and lied to us about the use of a loaner vehicle. We would never buy a car from them and will not return there for service. More
