He then answered my many question about this, my first keyless entry system. How the opening of the lift gate probably occurred and what I could do to prevent it from happening again. How the opened rear lift gate drained the battery. How I could release the gear shift that was locked when the battery was dead. How I could unlock the door when the battery is dead. More
