When we brought in our 2021 Subaru Ascent due to burning smell in the engine, our service advisor, Mike Needham had it checked out. We found out it needed a very expensive repair. We had just gone out of ou smell in the engine, our service advisor, Mike Needham had it checked out. We found out it needed a very expensive repair. We had just gone out of our 100,000 mile warranty. Mike was so wonderful! He contacted Subaru and was able to have the repair charges covered. Mike kept us informed every step of the process and was also able to provide a loaner vehicle for the time the car was being repaired. We are so impressed with the level of service we were provided. This is our 3rd Subaru and really love the vehicles. Subaru of Jax’s commitment to great customer service is a testament to your entire team. A special Thank You to Mike! More

Sales experience was the best I've ever had at a dealership. The problem I have is with service. I'm told that the repair will take one and hour over the phone and when I get there I was told it wil dealership. The problem I have is with service. I had a warrentialbe malfunction and I stated "this is dangerous" and they agreed I asked for a loner and they said they wouldn't have one for two weeks. I was told to come back in two weeks. The service department is very nice but I can't believe how little they communicate and make promises that they can't fulfill. I won't be buying another Subaru. More
I am writing to express my sincere gratude to Pat Conrad in your service department. Some background, I was traveling from Va to Port St Lucie, Fl (1/31 - 2/1/25) when I stopped to refuel in Florence South in your service department. Some background, I was traveling from Va to Port St Lucie, Fl (1/31 - 2/1/25) when I stopped to refuel in Florence South Carolina my check engine light came on. I called your dealship and they informed me it would be ok to drive the remainder, as the light should reset itself. On Saturday at 6:50 am, I was waiting at your service door, the lights and all associated function on my Forester touring version were disable. Pat took me in and within 30 mins told me the problem and stepped up to turn a potential issue into a customer WOW experience. Not only was the issue covered, she also gave me a loaner car to get my wife, which I left in the hotel. I was able to get back on my trip within the estimated 3 hr repair time. I have read storiess (customers for life) about cadillac dealers going to great length to statisfy customers, but in my experience, Pat rasied the game even further. This is our first Subaru, but after this experience, it will not be out last.... Thank you PAT and Sabaru of Jax's.... More

This is flat out a rip off of the consumer they don't care about their customers just their bottom line. It is an inconvenience but Haninia Subaru of Orange park gives great customer service and does not charge this ridiculous fee that is pure profit for the company.
