After driving it nearly 150,000 miles, we wanted/needed to update. We used the Outback for our play car, hauling around our kayaks and bikes on roof racks and by trailer. After doing on-line research, we decided to get a Forester this time around. It seemed to have more storage while not sacrificing the creature comforts of the Outback. The latter is important because we put a lot of road miles on the car, taking it to the Florida Keys and Maine each year. Our salesman, Josh Strickland, patiently listened to our needs and decision process, then suggested that we reconsider the Outback. After trying out the two models, we readily agreed with his recommendation. That decision made, he was candid and courteous in putting together a very fair deal with a well-equipped in stock vehicle in less than 15 minutes. The sales manager, Daniel Kane, Anita Clarkson and all the other dealership staff were as kind and helpful as Josh. We love our new car. It is everything Josh promised, and more. We wish that all of our previous car buying experiences could have been as enjoyable as this one. More

In the years since I purchased my first Forester at this dealership I have learned a great truth--when you purchase a car from them, you become part of the family! My first purchase experience with salesman Bruce Holmes was pleasant and fun. His knowledge of the cars made my selection easy. After purchase, service appointments were quick and convenient. The service department stands behind a priority policy of keeping cars safe, and really listens! When I needed to replace my first Forester, getting another one was an easy decision! As owner Phil Porter says in his TV ads, "Drive a Subaru, you will buy a Subaru." I could add that once you buy a car here, you will be a Subaru of Jacksonville customer for life! More

They took great care of me (even fed me lunch!) and offered a fair price on a new 2015 forester (equal to the average price paid in the area based on truecar.com prices). Also gave me a good price on my trade in, even without knowing exactly why it was broken down. Overall a great experience - I never felt pressured into any decision and I couldn't be more happy with the car. More

We had looked at other cars and couldn't find any that compared to the safety a Subaru offered, and with us expecting our first in September, there was just no other option. When we got there we were surprised that no one approached us as we walked around the lot for about 15 minutes. We walked up to the dealership and there were 4 or 5 guys sitting outside...none of them said a word to us even though we made eye contact. We felt really awkward. I chalked it up to us being such a young couple...although young money is still good money. Those other sales guys missed out on a good sale. We went inside and were immediately greeted by Mark Minter. He was a little shocked that no one had even asked us if we needed help yet and got to work making our experience amazing. He took us outside and drove the car up that we had been interested in. He let us look around the inside and explained all the features to us from top to bottom. We hadn't planned on getting anything above basic, but the car he showed us was too perfect to pass up. Leather seats, GPS navigation, eyesight cameras, and the list keeps going. We fell in love. (And we'll be back in a few weeks to have a bike rack installed; Mark explained all of those options to us too). The process from there went smoothly. He collected our information, got us an amazing deal and Anita Clarkson got us an amazing rate. This place really does mean it when they say they take good care of military buyers. I don't believe we could have gotten this car, fully-loaded, for this price anywhere else. We appreciate everything Mark did for us and we are extremely happy with our new car. We'll be back when our other car needs to be replaced, without a doubt. More

When I bought the car there was no pressure exerted when signing the loan. In my experience that is a time when a lot of extras are pushed on the customer.
