We are now proud first time Subaru owners We are from North Carolina, and searched far and wide to find a used Subaru Outback, with mileage under 100,000 miles, and all of the features/colors We are from North Carolina, and searched far and wide to find a used Subaru Outback, with mileage under 100,000 miles, and all of the features/colors that my wife liked best. When I first came across the listing online, I liked what I saw right away. I was also comforted by the detail provided in the Carfax report that was readily available on the dealer's website. But I was mostly hesitant about the distance: 475 miles away! So, I fired off an email to Subaru of Jacksonville asking for a few details; it was Saturday evening. Frank Woods, one of the sales staff at Subaru of Jacksonville, responded by email right away, and then called me to answer the questions that I had. We negotiated the price over the phone on Sunday evening. Frank was very helpful, and very quick to get answers throughout our the entire sales process. But the thing that impressed me the most about Subaru of Jacksonville, and Frank, was that they added in a new set of tires, a full maintenance checkup, an oil change, and installed two new drive-shafts; about $1,200 worth of labor and materials. They added in these items, after we negotiated the deal, without changing the price that we negotiated. Frank explained that they wanted our experience with our pre-owned Subaru to get off to a great start. That gesture truly set Subaru of Jacksonville apart for me. We''re very happy with the car. Every detail is just as Frank described if for me. Based upon our experience, I will not hesitate to travel 475 miles to Subaru of Jacksonville to purchase our next Subaru! I arrived at the Jacksonville Subaru location and met Jerry, an 18 year veteran of Subaru (and I think an actual veteran too). He educated me on the cars options, differences between the 2015/2016 models and we test drove the vehicle. I appreciated Jerry's attention to detail and ability to demonstrate (with me driving) many of the wonderful Outback features. After some discussion and debate on the trade in - we came to a fair position and IM AM SO HAPPY WITH MY 2016 SUBARU OUTBACK!!! Jerry's knowledge and patience really made a difference in our buying experience and I would recommend him and the dealership highly. More
