On my way to a local Hyundai dealership ) I had a Hyundai to trade) I stopped in here to just look. I had a Subaru Forester in the late 1980s. I was immediately greeted and assigned a salesperson, Jerry Johnson. In our casual conversation he told me how long he and others had worked there. Impressive . Jerry is mature, knowledgeable, and calming . He listened to my “ must haves”, educated me on the vehicle I was looking at, and we drove it as he explained everything feature in detail. I was going to order a car with the package and color I wanted, but in the cordial negotiation he presented a car on the lot with everything but the color I wanted. I took the deal. From then everything sped up , I was accomdated for my time restrictions, trade in, and a host of other details. I drove the new car home. The rest of the deal continued the next day where Jerry had my new car cleaned up, we reviewed the booklets and features, made an appointment for a thirty day check up, programmed my features, filled up the tank, had me tour the facility and meet the employees. Then off I went. I feel that this dealer has created a true customer satisfaction culture . Everyone I met had the same attitude . Jerry wanted me to understand the vehicle , but didn’t pressure me at all . He was supportive of my specs and needs. He did everything he said he would . I truly believe I can call or stop in at any time if there is a car issue. I got a fair price. I’m confident that my Crosstrek will last for years . Glad to be a Subaru owner again . Thanks Jerry. 2nd Car in less than a year! My wife and I arrived three minutes late and Juan met us as we drove up. We had a brief discussion as to our objective, looked at a few cars and took a test drive. Painless and worry free. When you find a good bubba, you go back and recommend him to your friends. Juan gets two thumbs up and a solid 10 for listening, understanding and caring that the customer is happy. More

When the repair quote came with a few more zeros than expected on the end, Juan, Ken and Sojax didn’t hesitate and took care of the repair. You don’t find that kind of commitment to the customer just anywhere. More

We had called ahead and our representative (Danny) was there to greet us the moment we walked in, and had already started a lot of the paperwork. Since we had spoken on the phone, he had an idea of what we were looking for and pointed us to a number of cars. While we were looking they appraised our Mustang, and within a half hour we had settled on a car and began the buying process. We got a great deal and AJ handled the financing paperwork without issue. All in all, we were there for less than three hours (including the vehicle 'tour') and drove out with exactly what we wanted. All materials that were going to be emailed were in the inbox before we got home, and we received a quick text from Danny making sure everything was ok. Definitely recommend Subaru of Jax! More

Stuck away from home with a car starting problem We started having to jump-start our 5 year old Suburu Outback while visiting in Jacksonville. So we stopped at a Auto-Zone store expecting it to be a We started having to jump-start our 5 year old Suburu Outback while visiting in Jacksonville. So we stopped at a Auto-Zone store expecting it to be a battery problem. The Auto-Zone technician did a battery test and said it was good, but thought what we needed was a new starter. He recommended a nearby Auto Repair shop and off we went. After doing additional diagnostic test that mechanic said it was not a starter problem, rather we needed a new alternator. He tried really hard to find a replacement alternator for us (no one in Jacksonville had one in stock) and ended up ordering it for expedited shipping from another state. I never showed up. After two days worrying we called Suburu of Jacksonville, and the service manager Phil said he thought he could help. We were welcomed at the dealership by Steven Wall, who went way over the call of duty, to get our car checked out. Thanks to him we found out the problem really was caused by a bad battery which was easily fixed. He also did an update to our cars engine programming and checked it over for any other problems. We were so happy with the care and consideration Steven gave us and very thankful that his solution to our problem cost us only one third of what the outside mechanic was going to charge for an alternator that we really did not even need! [Our original salesman at the dealership, Juan Hernandez, also made us 'feel at home' during our wait for the repairs - with no pressure to buy a newer car] More
