This review highlights two key aspects of my recent car purchase experience at Subaru of Jacksonville. Jerry Exceeded Expectations: First, I want to give a big shoutout to Jerry, my salesperson. From the moment I walked in, Jerry was incredibly helpful, patient, and efficient. He listened attentively to my needs, which were focused on safety and comfort. Being particularly interested in the Subaru Forester, Jerry's deep knowledge of car features was impressive. He readily answered all my questions and helped me feel confident about the Forester as the perfect fit. Finance Department Confusion: However, the finance department experience wasn't quite as smooth. AJ, the finance manager, was certainly friendly and eager to finalize the sale. Unfortunately, the explanation of the extended warranty packages lacked clarity. The focus seemed to be on the monthly payment amounts, which left me confused about the overall cost. This created the impression that a certain payment equated to a specific warranty tier, when in fact, it was just the monthly breakdown. It wasn't until a closer look at the final paperwork that I understood the full cost of the warranty I'd chosen. Fortunately, AJ was very responsive and flexible. He readily adjusted the line items on the purchase agreement once I voiced my concerns. In the end, he worked with me until I felt comfortable with the final price. Overall: Despite the confusion with the warranty options, Jerry's exceptional service made the car buying experience at Subaru of Jacksonville mostly positive. If you're looking for a knowledgeable and patient salesperson, I highly recommend Jerry! However, I do recommend being very clear about your desired warranty coverage and costs before finalizing the paperwork. More
