I leased my second WRX from this dealership and from the same person both times in the last 6 years. The sales agent that helped me was Julian Baghdasarian. She was nothing but professional and gracious d same person both times in the last 6 years. The sales agent that helped me was Julian Baghdasarian. She was nothing but professional and gracious during the whole process. I felt that she was looking out for my best interests and not just making a sale. On my second lease, I called other dealerships in the area to find the best deal and really to search for the best service. I can tell none of them were receptive for my business and definitely not my interest then I remember Julian and contacted her. From the start, and after 6 years, Julian just made me feel like I've known her forever and provided me the best service for the second time in my experience of leasing a vehicle. More
This dealership is the typical one that you would imagine and dread going to. They would not sell their cars unless you buy the Cilajet coating and the paint protective film (PPF). Both items they say have a and dread going to. They would not sell their cars unless you buy the Cilajet coating and the paint protective film (PPF). Both items they say have already been applied, but you can only really verify the PPF edge guards and door handle protectors. They say the Cilajet has been already applied to the interior of the car and the exterior needs to be applied still (so they supposedly cant remove it). They start their pricing at $3000 for both items (but lucky you can reduce it), and will go to $695 for the PPF (4 door edge guards and 4 door cup handles) and $900 for Cilajet. Both these items are dealer upcharges they choose to put on for markup over MSRP. 3M door edge guards can be had for $17 per package and $16 for the door handle cup films. They will typically not answer direct questions on pricing, will add on huge doc fees (first time it was +-$600), and try to push the money around so it is hard to track and what exactly you are paying for. The first manage you speak with in the offices will say they can make decisions, but they really cant and go off to their supervisor to "check" if they can make some deal happen. Cilajet is a so so product, but best applied by an actual detailing shop that will last +-5 years. More
I want to personally shout out Berj for being the scummiest salesperson at Subaru of Glendale and for all around lowering the brand integrity of Subaru. scummiest salesperson at Subaru of Glendale and for all around lowering the brand integrity of Subaru. More
This dealership has zero integrity and gives the Subaru brand a bad name. We purchased a brand new Forrester (our third Subaru), and were relentlessly pushed on a rather expensive paint protection package brand a bad name. We purchased a brand new Forrester (our third Subaru), and were relentlessly pushed on a rather expensive paint protection package by Cilajet that we were told we had no choice on because the protection was already applied to the car. Turns out there is no such protection on the vehicle (this was confirmed by a certified Cilajet technician looking into our warranty). After visiting the dealership for a resolution, only to be gaslit and yelled at, we are fighting the case with Subaru of America. More
Christopher Garchitorena was very helpful with my purchase. He was patient and thorough when explaining all the details of my new Crosstrek. In addition, he's been very responsive to additional purchase. He was patient and thorough when explaining all the details of my new Crosstrek. Very pleased with my sales help. Berj is outstanding with his knowledge and absolutely helpful in every way. Brandi was also instrumental in making this happen. She was an excellent help with getting me the cart I wanted. Was told my first payment was taken care of, but a little disappointed that my first payment was due on 2/09/2023, the same day I leased my car. That does not appear to be the first month paid since I paid a lot of money on that day for deposit or down. More
I purchased the car with about $1,200 in options. I took delivery without all the options installed. I was promised the remaining items (splash guards, door guards, floor mats, ...) would be available in a few days. Six weeks later, I'm still waiting. Getting the remaining items installed has been a headache. The people are nice, but they make promises they fail to keep. There seems to be choatic communication between departments and a lot of new hires in the shop. (On the last trip, I drove off the lot with the hood unlatched.) One hand doesn't seem know what the other is doing. All in all, I've had a dreadful ownership experience. Perhaps the dealer would have been more conscientious if I had purchased from a Glendale salesman. (I made the purchase through a 3rd party recommended by my credit union.) If I had a do over, I'd purchase from another dealer--or at least refuse delivery until the car was equipped with all the purchased options. More
