Several days went by and then the dealer called me to let me know that the car had been sold to someone else, but they could offer me a "better" car (2020, with more mileage) for the same price. I declined, and they assured me they would refund the deposit. Two weeks later and they have not yet done so, so I've had to put in a dispute through my credit card company. Please avoid this dealership! *Update on July 14th. The dealership manager later reached out to me about this experience to apologize, which I appreciated. He said that the mistakes were unintentional, and seemed genuine in wanting to making sure I got my deposit back. More

At Subaru of while plains dealership, I will not purchase a new or used vehicle. Salesman provides phenomenal service to get your business and trust. Here is we’re everything collapses. The upper managem a new or used vehicle. Salesman provides phenomenal service to get your business and trust. Here is we’re everything collapses. The upper management fails miserably getting back to customer in the absence of salesman - (by end of business day). After paying thousands for a new car , I felt like all I went through was they were doing me a favor. Here is the issue , There was a wrinkle/small discrepancy on trade in original car title. I did what was “right” by dealership and myself(all in good faith). Left a check In good faith to bridge the gap, to be returned as soon matter was resolved. After the resolution and dealership was satisfied with what they felt it was needed. When it came to pick up personal check left in good faith at dealership location and I asked to please be called back to confirm and coordinate check pick up at dealership. All I heard from dealership leadersship was crickets-not a call back nor a return text as acknowledgment. THIS RAISED A RED FLAG as major concern. Subaru if you are listening- When it comes to money, please fullfill your duties and obligations on the spot. Originally When the dealership asked me for a check, I delivered on the spot, no questions asked. The same is expected on the return when I delivered my end of my bargain . As a result , I will hold back in future purchasing from Subaru. Let me break it down . 1-2k in additional car accessories that I realized I can add to new purchased vehicle and 2.5K added security “gold plus” extended service and the 50K electric car, which I was planning to buy next year-because of high my mileage and electric car seem most cost effective for my needs. I was extremely disappointed with my service experience. There was zero apology, and zero acknowledgment that they were late and it was extremely rude. There were way too many phone calls, asking me for input and it would have been greatly appreciated if there could have just been one call in advance to clarify what was being done and not waste my time 5 separate times. Also, the car came back filthy. I would’ve expected it to be cleaned inside and out during a service. Our other car is a Volvo and the service experience there is 10,000 times better. This was a very unfortunate reminder that Subaru is not a luxury brand and I would never recommend this dealership to anyone. More
It doesn't allow for ZERO stars. ..But if you see a salesman named MICHAEL D. run!!! I don't know how a used car salesman ever got hired to sell new cars, But ask for someone else. If you want to pay in full he insists to have the funds wired ASAP then when you try to contact him to make sure the funds arrived he does not return your calls or text. I called the showroom and they told me he is there. I believe as soon as he gets his commission you're dead to him. I tried to contact him several times but it took a nasty call to the showroom for him to call me back. He insists in a threatening way you need to pick it up right away because his boss doesn't want cars hanging around. I would advise you to stay clear of this dealership. More
