Took the wife in for a test drive. The salesperson showed my wife the so-called complete top of the line Ascent with all the bells and whistle’s. We said perfect we picked a color and said we want Ascent with all of those features. Great. We didn’t haggle about the price and signed the paperwork. Quick and easy sale maybe 2 hours. So 2 days later we pick up the car that they had in stock and my wife notices that the garage door opener feature is not working and the charging pad doesn’t work? She goes back to dealership wastes time ( garage door feature still doesn’t work) and finally one of the reps informs my wife that our Ascent has every other feature but not the charging Pad. Why would you show us a demo car with all the features making a point to show us a phone charging pad to not put it in the package when we stated great give us the car with everything.that was demonstrated. We understand that we should have tripled checked the paperwork to make sure every little detail that we spoke about was on that list. But really? Maybe we should have haggled about the price then. I called the dealership to try to resolve this 2 weeks ago. No response. All good I get it you got the sale no need to deal with us anymore.Nice way to make a mom who was excited about purchasing a new car feel slighted. As her husband I now have to make this right so I’ll goto another dealership in the city to get the pad added. We will not be using Subaru White Plains for our routine future maintenance Servicing needs unless it’s covered by our 10 year/ 100,000 mile extended warranty. Oh did I mention we purchased that also? More
My car was leaking water into the front passenger seat and I brought it to this Subaru service location to have it fixed. I also did an oil change and a carwash while I was waiting. Their service was quick, professional and very reasonable. The waiting room is very comfortable and clean as well as stocked with snacks and a coffee machine. I definitely recommend this location for service and I will be returning there in the future. More
