The doors were open on time and since I had the first appointment, that made my day since I had be at office by 9. The status tracker was great since I could see every step of the process. They scheduled for a loaner car to come out to my house and complete what I initially came in for, guess what? They didn't bother to show up! This was about 6 months ago. This Monday I decided to give them another chance. My car kept on dying, still under warranty only over a year old and about 35k miles. I figured it's probably a battery issue no big deal, they can handle this. Came in this Monday, waited about 3-4 hours and they told me the battery is good and it's now fully charged and I'm all set. I thought it was strange, if they battery is good then why does the car keep dying? Not a mechanic but I knew this doesn't sound right! Tuesday my husband driving the car early morning and the car dies on a red light ON THE WESTSIDE HWY! He was able to get a jump, went back to the dealer with the car. He was there from about 10am-5pm and at the end they said, "we checked and can't find any problems with the car, here is the 1800 number to call Subaru" I think I almost jumped through the phone when I heard that THE SUBARU DEALER wants ME to call 1800 SUBARU and start a case? Are you kidding me? I tried to call the service manager several times, he didn't bother to pick up my calls OR return them! Great customer service! Then, my husband had to wait for 45min to get the car after they informed us they can't fix the car! It takes 45min to get paperwork done and pull the car to the front? Itook my car this morning to another Subaru dealer, they A - Gave me a loaner B- have been in touch with me C- they told me "why would we call 1800 Subaru if we don't know why the car keeps dying? Additionally, if we get to that point THEY the dealer will contact Subaru! I would understand if I brought them a Honda or Chevy and they didn't know how to fix it, but YOU ARE A SUBARU DEALER, and MY car is under warranty and you need to FIX IT! More
This is my eighth Subaru and by far after I got my car delivered they wanted nothing to do with me. Emails sent, called the person who sold me the car and dropped it off.
