We bought our first Subaru We weren't even particularly interested in buying a Subaru, but visited the dealership based on the great rating Consumer Reports gave the new Ascent. We weren't even particularly interested in buying a Subaru, but visited the dealership based on the great rating Consumer Reports gave the new Ascent. We really liked the car after we had a test drive, and were impressed with the dealership as well. We were treated in a very friendly and accommodating manner at all times by the staff. So now we are the proud owners of a 2019 Ascent! Each time we have visited the dealership, we get the impression they are rolling out the red carpet just for us. Thankful for Honesty and Transparency Ron had no problem telling it like it is. We bought a used vehicle and he didn't try to get us out of our price-range. The vehicle was listed online, Ron had no problem telling it like it is. We bought a used vehicle and he didn't try to get us out of our price-range. The vehicle was listed online, but when we showed up to take a look they couldn't show it to us. Instead of trying to get us to test drive a vehicle out of our price, he told us he would keep us in the loop of its availability. When it was ready he called me immediately and we went out after work. Test drove it and were ready to talk about price. There is always some back and forth when it comes to buying a car, but it was much more painless than at other dealerships. Plus, we felt that the price was worth it in the end when we knew that the car had been properly checked and maintenanced. He showed us everything they had done to the car (pouring almost $2500 into it in repairs and new tires). Instead of waiting around for paperwork, Ron sent us home so that we could come back the next day and just sign on the dotted line. I think we spent maybe 2 hours total at the dealership. The financing was a bit of a headache but we were able to shop around and get a rate we wanted, and they had no problem working with us on that. Overall, we are really excited to be a Subaru owner and were happy with the process. More
Great facility Facility is kept up, clean, has snacks, drinks while waiting. Issues: Not much stock (i.e. choices) even though the lot appeared full. Took a LONG time to get a vehicle to look at and/or test drive. The location system should be improved upon. Instruction on new vehicle: Had 2 prior Foresters so a lot of controls were the same. However, they SHOULD have mentioned that it has the "stop" feature - this is new to a lot of cars. At first panicked when I left the store and it "stalled" at a stop light. Then I remembered a relative had one that shut down also.... Also, should have mentioned how to fuel the car -- Took too long for the process - we were there about 9:30 and left at 3:30 (yes, test drove 3 times, but the delay in getting a car and the paperwork on a CASH deal was too long. Might have gone for an upgraded stereo pkg to be put in - but wasn't offered any "deal" - just the list cost. Receptionist: great idea and she was really trying to help us since our sales guy was not available. Give her an "A". Training personnel: Felt a little of a condescending attitude -- I might be older, but have a MBA and am a quick study. Figured out a lot from the manuals and most of it is the same as my prior vehicles. Finance: pushed even though we kept saying we were not interested - he new we had bought vehicles before.....and not new to the process. More

When we arrived at the dealership we were greeted quickly by Darby. Again, because we knew exactly what we wanted, it didn't take long to find the specific vehicle. Darby answered all our questions and got us in our Forrester faster than I thought was possible! We have 2 children and they were accommodated and the facility was well equipped to keep them occupied. Asslide was who we were with for all the signing and it was so fast, easy, and very well explained. The only reason I give the dealership a 4-star was (and I understand the idea behind an open floor plan concept) I found it a little uncomfortable going through our financial details with other customers sitting within ear shot of were we were at in an open lobby type setting. For the signing of all the documents, if we wanted to close a door we could have, but not during our personal financial information. That just seemed backwards. Other than that, I prefer this dealership over the other one in Phoenix or Tucson. When we're ready for anther vehicle we will for sure be coming back to this specific dealership. More
