The Subaru dealer who turns down deals.. I had a deal lined up for over a week with this dealer on an Outback Wilderness. The car was ordered by someone else but they bailed on the deal. The day this lined up for over a week with this dealer on an Outback Wilderness. The car was ordered by someone else but they bailed on the deal. The day this thing came in, I was on the line ready to buy it and put money down on it, and Steve the sales manager steps in and says "it's first come first serve" I'm like but wait - I live 5 hours away and have been waiting for this car for over a week, I have cash in had I just need to wire it." Yet Steve Declines to take my money. I'm like "Steve, I cant help I don't have a Subaru dealer near me.. Not to mention my pregnant wife relies on an AWD car for the upcoming winter." Steve expected us to drive 5 hours and potentially lose the car to whoever shows up first? WOW Steve! Correct me if I'm wrong but aren't these cars meant for people in the snow / rain conditions? I now have to search many other Subaru dealers who might have the car we were looking for, when cars are scarce.. Steve doesn't represent the Subaru model we continue to pay for obviously.
