I was just about to buy another vehicle at a different dealership (non-Subaru) but by chance I stopped in at Mastro Subaru in Sanford, Florida to test drive a Legacy. Jeannie Kneisly-Manley was the sales dealership (non-Subaru) but by chance I stopped in at Mastro Subaru in Sanford, Florida to test drive a Legacy. Jeannie Kneisly-Manley was the sales person who assisted me throughout the entire process. She did a fantastic job and actually sold me on the Subaru Outback. Like I mentioned earlier, I was just about 90% through the buy process at another dealership! But after the test drive and the positive interaction I had with Jeannie I knew the Outback was the vehicle for me. I KNOW THIS MAY BE AN ISSUE FOR EVERY BUYER BUT I REALLY BELIEVE MY FOLLOWING ISSUE COULD HAVE BEEN BETTER.....The ONLY negative aspect of the purchase process was the final price of the vehicle. I paid JUST about sticker price for the Outback and the back office sales staff, NOT Jeannie, were not in a negotiation mood I guess. At one point it seemed as if they were trying to subtlety tell me that they were doing me a favor by selling the car to me. Lastly, though the second half of this review was disappointing to me I believe the professional and thoughtful attention Jeannie provided to me will last longer in my mind then the questionable price I paid for the vehicle. I have purchased many cars in my life. Always a hassle until I bought from Mastro Subaru in Sanford a couple of days ago. Mastro Subaru in Sanford is awesome! True Subaru fans, they really knew what they were talking about with the cars that they were selling, and even though I called just about every other day, anxious abou they really knew what they were talking about with the cars that they were selling, and even though I called just about every other day, anxious about the car we'd ordered, they were patient and helpful throughout. Chelsey Burke, in particular is a WRX owner who is super passionate about the Subaru brand! She really knows her stuff and is super fun on test drives, letting you really test out the car and showing what Subarus are made of! More
A friendly welcome reception as we walked in the showroom area. Giving the information on what we were looking for, we were shown in detail the different models with exterior and interior and engine combonat area. Giving the information on what we were looking for, we were shown in detail the different models with exterior and interior and engine combonations between Standard, Premium and Limited Series.We also had the opportunity to test drive the vehicle/vehicles. The salesperson was knowledgeable and able to answer our questions and hopefully sell us a vehicle as a salespersons position is. We met other personnel whom were also friendly and wanted to meet our needs and financial area for them to sell us a vehicle so both parties are satisfied and happy with the outcome. My experience with Mastro was exceptional. John Carrillo was our sales person and he did an excellent job responding to what we were looking for as far as options on our Outback. He was prompt and thorough in his replies. Purchased a new Subaru from Mastro. I generally despise the whole kabuki dance process associated with a new car purchase, and Mastro provided just the purchasing experience I was hoping to have. I made the initial contact via their webpage, and the next morning, I had a firm "out the door" price agreed upon that was fair and what I considered to be a good deal. Most importantly, this deal didn't "disappear" when I arrived to transact the deal. Additional services/warranties were offered, but there wasn't a hard sell, which I really appreciated. The more I visit this dealership (this is my 5th Subaru), the more I appreciate their approach to business. I'll definitely return for my next purchase and for service. More

My elderly parents totaled their minivan just before Christmas. My sister had heard good things about Subaru and suggested they check out the Forester. After they visited the local Subaro dealer in Ocala, I was concerned about them getting taken advantage of by the salesperson. Although I am 3000 miles away in California, I decided to attempt to handle the car buying details and negotiating for them. I contacted various dealers in Orlando, Jacksonville, Tampa and Gainesville. From the first point of contact, Christine Mallon was friendly and informative. Though out the entire process I was truly amazed at the level of attention and care she extended to myself, my sister and parents. My parents were planning to drive to Orlando, but my Mom had a dental emergency which required an unexpected root canal. Realizing that my folks would have a difficult time driving to Orlando, Christine was able to get permission from her manager and actually delivered the car-- over an hour away! We are all extremely happy with the service we received from Mastro Subaro. My parents LOVE the new Forester, and my father was practically giddy describing it to me over the phone. Mastro, and in particular Diane, were the most responsive and kept in contact via email without being pushy. They quoted me a good price online so I knew walking in what to expect. I, like many, have had bad dealer experiences so I was apprehensive going in to do the deal--expecting that it would be high pressure and that I'd get all kinds of silly fees added to the price. With Mastro, I could not have been more wrong. They were above boards on the price and treated me with a lot of respect. It was a real pleasure doing business with them and I would highly recommend them to others. I love my Outback and I had a great experience at Mastro. As for Diane, she was very personable and friendly. She also wanted to make sure I had a great experience and was a wealth of knowledge about the car. She even helped me set up the bluetooth in the car with my iPhone. The test drive she took me on was the best I've ever had--she really knows the car well and showed me how well the car handled. My experience was wonderful. More
