Ray was a great guy and easy to talk to, we negotiated the price back and forth three or more times. The guys at Halterman's worked with me to get my son in his car. They wanted a little too much for the 2004 Ford focus but they where open minded and I think we had a fair deal. The dealership wanted $8,900.00 for a vehicle that was worth $5,100.00 retail, they did do $1,000.00 worth of work to it to get it ready for resale. The price was $6,500.00 that we settled on, I believe it was a fair deal for both parties! More

It was such a pleasure to arrive at the beautiful new dealership building and to drive in for a quick service. Melissa made us feel like family and took immediate control of having our car service. She also guided us to the seating area of the showroom which was very comfortable and relaxing. Melissa came back in 1/2 hour and our car was serviced to our satisfaction. She does such an outstanding job in seeing that our car is serviced professionally and in making us feel at home. She is a great asset to the Toyota Dealership and we will continue to buy Toyotas in the future that add to the six we have already purchased in the past. Steven Heller was an excellent salesman. He wasn't pushy like most car salesmen are and seemed to be giving us his honest opinion on what we could afford and what would be good for me and my family. He obviously cared more about what would work best for us, rather than making a sale. He took all the time I needed, and was very willing to answer any questions I may have had. He was really friendly, down to earth and easy to spend the time with while all of the paperwork was getting situated and everything. We had a pretty good time, actually. Even having a 2 year old there the whole time wasn't that bad, because he was interacting with the baby and the baby isn't usually friendly with strangers. Everyone else on the sales floor was also very friendly. They would say hi or smile as they walked by, and after a while some even came over to strike up a conversation with us as we were waiting. From the time we first pulled in to the dealership, to the time I drove away with my new (used) vehicle was around 6 and a half hours. I did have an issue with a squeak that I heard when I test drove the vehicle I decided to purchase. I had all ready spent a lot of time at the dealership that day, so decided I would just bring it back. It took over 3 hours to have the squeak "fixed" and a chip in the windshield that I saw the day after I bought the vehicle. But when I drove away, it is still squeaking. I have another appointment to come in to have the squeak fixed, and am very happy that they are willing to get it right. Steve is more than helpful and understanding in this situation as well. The experience I had at Halterman's is opposite the experience I had at the dealership next door, where I have made all my other vehicle purchases from. I am very happy I made the decision to come to Halterman's and that Steve was there for me from the start. I all ready have recommended your dealership and especially your car salesman to some friends and coworkers, and will continue to do so. And I will be back when I decided it's time for another new or used vehicle. Thank you!!!! More
I had a wonderful experience as always with my service call. I rated the price as good rather than great because I have nothing to compare it. My only negative is that the service maintenance feature that tells me when it is due was not reset. This did not happen also the last time I had it serviced(6 month or 7500 mile service) so my car still has the 6 month service countdown showing. I do not want to return to dealer just to have that reset. In all fairness, I did not remind the service person to reset it. I assumed on my 7500 mile/6 month service that it was part of the warranty service. However I forgot on last visit(15,000 or 1 year) for service to remind them to reset that.Perhaps it can be noted in my service record to do that. I guess it is not an automatic part of the warranty (every 7500 miles) service. Otherwise, everything was explained to me and all that I requested to be checked and more was done in a courteous and timely manner. More
We were faced with purchasing a new vehicle due to an automobile accident. We worked closely with Rodney and Doug. We explained to them where we needed to be financially with the monthly payment. We also gave a description of the car that we would be satisfied with and Doug located and picked up this vehicle in New Jersey. All the staff at Halterman's went above and beyond to meet our needs.
