So we began the 10 hour drive down there at 11pm that Tuesday night like we had already planned for instead of wasting another day with phone calls and booking off more work. The only reason we decided to drive down was because we were continuously told the man wasn’t sure about the truck, that this dealership was first come first serve, and they did not put holds on vehicles. Even after being lied to and told they would hold it if I filled out the credit app. We arrived at the dealership at 8am, saw the truck with no plates, no sold sign and still covered in morning dew because it was never driven home. We then left, checked into the hotel and got ready for the day. We arrived back to the dealership at 10am that Wednesday morning. Spoke to another saleswomen about the truck. She read the notes on the ordeal and quickly went to talk to a manager. She then began frantically running around and disappeared for about 30+ minutes. Enough time to get their stories straight it seems. In the meantime I went to the bathroom and while walking through the hallway I overheard candy asking a finance manager if they had the signed numbers sheet for the truck and if they had actually agreed to numbers. I returned to the table, and she returned and said her manager would speak to us and figure out what to do. He fed us this schpiel about how he feels bad we drove all this way, that his employees should know better, that he will use this for training, etc. But he then told us the truck SOLD officially 2 days prior on Monday morning at 10am before I filled out the credit application. There was no elaborate story about the man not being sure about the truck. It was all an orchestrated lie. He then continued talking up his dealership saying he sells a lot of cars, this is another day for him. He then asked for proof of his employees poor behavior, which I showed him, but he disregarded like he did not care at all. He then said he would try to find me another truck, even ship it to me. But did not listen to me and has made ZERO attempts at following up thus far. I even text him the screenshots of his employees lies via text messages and he still has not acknowledged them. Another sketchy bit to add, the truck had 66,000 miles when it arrived at the dealership and when photos were taken of it. But online it had 68,800 miles. We drove through the dealer lot the following day on Thursday morning before we left, saw the truck again with no plates on it. After driving all the way back home empty handed we rechecked the carfax and saw the truck officially LEGALLY sold on Wednesday the day we were at the dealership. I just think this dealership is a poorly orchestrated lying machine. They bait and switch. They lie. They are scummy. There are no redeeming qualities here. PLEASE head my warning and do not waste your time buying a car at this dealership. That sketchy used car dealer down to street with old clunkers, who finances those even with poor credit has better customer care and service than this explosive dumpster fire. DO NOT BUY HERE. BUY ELSEWHERE
