The sales woman, Candy, was pleasant which is the only positive about my experience. Took a Chevy S10 for a test drive and it seemed to be a nice truck, so I had them look at my car for as a trade-in. W positive about my experience. Took a Chevy S10 for a test drive and it seemed to be a nice truck, so I had them look at my car for as a trade-in. While Sandy and the sales manager worked the numbers I did some research with my phone. I went to KBB.com and found that the vehicle I was looking at was overpriced by about $1000.00(2002 Chevy S10 regular cab, shortbed, V6 with auto transmission with no power windows or door locks with 98000 miles). I also found that my trade-in, which has no lien, (1998 Pontiac Firebird Trans Am, V8 auto trans, loaded with every option except WS6 package with 83000 miles) actually retailed for $500.00 more than the vehicle I was looking at...you can verify this yourself at KBB.com. So after 30 minutes Sandy comes back with some numbers and tells me she can get into the truck for $4600.00. The offer for my trade was $2000.00 less than that shown on KBB.com. When I refuse the offer, and start to walk out, the Sales Manager comes over and tells me he can give a little more for my trade and can get me into the truck for $4100.00. When I show show him all the KBB.com information he looks at me and says "well Kelley Blue Book doesn't write checks". More
