Like no other One of the things i haye most is having to fight with the sales guy for the price of the car because they don’t want to tell you. Others dealer also want you to apply for the credit and when you dont even know if thats the car you want because you don’t know all the facts. Strong VW wasn’t this way, when I showed up i told them what i was looking. Told Berry Jelin my what i wanted and one by one we walked all the sales lot looking for the car, all of the vehicles had prices, which made it easier making a decision, the best part was that berry didn’t pressure me, we saw literally every option available, we even saw other models just to give you a picture of the idea in case we could be missing out of something else. When we finally decided we crunch some numbers with him, we even try to calculate our monthly payment and all without applying fro the credit just because berry wanted us to be sure we would be ok with the numbers first. Since we were we walked out with a new vw atlas. Amazing suv. All of their services are very personalized to take care of you. The next vehicle i get will come out of their dealer, because they treat you with respect and at the end that’s what matters. Thank you barry and thank you stron Vw More

Great Service at the Strong Volkswagen Dealership. Had my previous Tiguan since 2013 and I was very happy with it, but they were some new features that I really wanted in a car. The new Tiguan SEL offered everything I wanted and more. We love Volkswagen cars and we are long time customers of Strong Volkswagen dealership. I work downtown and this location is perfect for me, but truly is the great service that keeps bringing us back to this location. My job is demanding with lots of last minutes deadlines and lots of responsibilities I’m always lacking the time to take care of my needs. Barry was extremely helpful and worked with me on my busy schedule. One more time we had a great experience choosing a car! Absolutely LOVE my new Tiguan. Thanks for everything! More

He was quite knowledgeable about the vehicles I liked and he never made me feel as if I was being steered into a certain vehicle that I may regret later. I was impressed with the fact that he made a follow up call to see how the car was working out for me. That extra personal touch made the experience even better. I really love the warranty that is provided with the purchase of the vehicle and that was the main reason I chose this dealership. Honest Review- 1st review was a bribe Scheduled an appointment with Christine Bracken to see Matt. When I arrived to the dealership, the person at the front desk was finishing up a text or Scheduled an appointment with Christine Bracken to see Matt. When I arrived to the dealership, the person at the front desk was finishing up a text or something on her phone before she acknowledged me. I asked to see Matt and the person at the front desk called for him, he did not answer, so I was told to walk to his office. I went to his office to wait and then someone else came up to me and said Matt had already left for the day and so had Christine. I verified my appointment with Christine about 3 hours prior, that day. After dealing with that, Jay said he would help me out. We went and test drove a white Jetta and started all the paper work on it. I spent a good amount of time signing some papers with Jay. He went back to give the papers to his manager, I assume. He then came back to me and apologized and said that there was a miscommunication and that the car I wanted, was already sold. I didn’t get angry or upset and told Jay, that’s okay, I understand. At this point it’s around 8pm, and dark and cold outside. After finding out that the car I wanted was sold, Jay walked me to a Jetta SE and said this is my other option and that because they made a mistake, they would sale me that car and keep my monthly payment the same as it would be with the lesser model. The car they offered to me at that point was brown with white interior (not at all the car I had originally hoped to purchase). They did not offer to find me anything comparable or the color options of the original car (white with black interior). They just told me that this was my option. I told Jay that I didn’t need to test drive it, because it’s pretty much the same car, just more extras. It was dark and very cold outside, I did not have a jacket, so I didn’t really spend any time at all, looking at the car I purchased. Not once did I try to talk down the price or do any negotiating, and I believe I even got the extra insurance that was offered? I ended up leaving the dealership pretty late and drove straight home, parked my car and went to bed. I went out to look at my car around 7am and noticed some damage to the outside mirror. I immediately texted pictures to Jay and said it looks like we didn’t notice this last night, can I bring it in to get fixed. Jay responded saying bring it in and I’ll have my manager look at it. I sent those pictures to Jay, not even 11hours after purchasing the car. When I brought the car in, Jay made the comment that he was pretty sure he looked at the car very well, before giving it to me and the manager was not happy and said he had never seen damage like that before. They made me feel like they thought I was the one who damaged it and was trying to blame them. They agreed to fix the mirror and said they had to order the part and would let me know when it came in. I ended up having to call the service department after not hearing anything from Jay and the service department said they had my part and scheduled me to bring it in. I sent Jay a text letting him know that I made an appointment to get my car fixed. He apologized and said it was his day off or something. He then called and asked if I wanted to bring my car in sooner to fix, then what I had scheduled with the service center. I thanked him and explained why I made the appointment for Saturday. Jay calls me I think on Friday and says the service department is over booked and that they can’t fix my car. I think it ended up taking about 3 weeks, maybe less, to get my car fixed. Another thing I’m upset about, is the VIP deal. I was told that to get the VIP deal, I had to leave 3 reviews and on the last review I had to give all 10 Stars, sounded easy enough, so I agreed. When I finally got the link to take the online review, I went on to do the review. I left all 10 stars, like they asked. I was a little confused though because I was not told how to answer the couple drop down boxes that did not give the option to leave stars. Because there was damage to my car, and it had not been fixed and because I felt that I was being blamed for the damage, I was worried that if I didn’t not answer the drop-down questions about damage to the car, honestly, then they would not fix my car. Because I answered that question honestly and was told I just had to leave 10 stars, I thought I would get the VIP deal, but that was not the case. I ended up not getting the VIP deal because I didn’t score 100% on the review, which I was told I just had to leave all 10 stars. I also have two coworkers that bought Jetta’s at the south town dealership and their cars came with carpet mats and the heavy-duty rubber mats. On the sticker that came with my car, it showed that the rubber mats in my car, were on extra charge. That being said, I feel like I should have also received the regular carpet mats that always come with new cars. Also, South Town VW included the carpet mats for my coworkers, who bought the same car, the same week, at a different dealership. I sent Jay a text, asking about the carpeted floor mats and he told me not all cars that come from the factory, have carpet floor mats. My salesperson and the dealership also failed to mention that there was a $1000 refund (Volkswagon incentive) on all remaining 2017 Jetta’s bought before October 31st. This was offered from Volkswagon and the refund checks would be received 4-6 weeks after purchase. The other people that I have mentioned who also bought jetta’s have already received the refund check that I was never told about. Being a young women, I feel that I have been taken advantage of, and I would not recommend this dealership to anyone. Apparently the dealership needs to bribe their customers with awesome VIP deals in exchange for high rating reviews. I now understand why! More
