We are sorry that this buyer is having issues with the Camaro he purchased. The specifics mentioned about incorrect descriptions were remedied after the salesman he worked with “moved on” from Streetside Classics for problems just like that. Incompetence is not acceptable in our showrooms. We never heard from the buyer regarding these issues for 8 months after the purchase. The buyer made the decision to purchase the car after seeing it in person. We are basically a broker for the sellers of these vehicles, as they are on consignment. We do not build them, or work on them. We do very basic operability checks. We don’t to 100+ point inspections. Thus, why we allow, and encourage private party inspections of vehicles before buyers decide on a purchase. We have since reached out to the buyer to discuss, we have offered to re-consign the car for them when the buyer is ready for their next classic car.
