I recently purchased a 1970 Buick GS from Streetside Classics in Fort Worth. I had the car shipped and the shipper notified me that the car did not run. The car was delivered to me, and we've been chasi Classics in Fort Worth. I had the car shipped and the shipper notified me that the car did not run. The car was delivered to me, and we've been chasing electrical gremlins ever since. It still hasn't started. The "restoration" that was "done right" is pretty shoddy aside from shiny paint and a decent (but damp) interior. I can't fault the dealer because I'm the idiot that bought sight unseen and now have a ~30k (if it's even worth that) hunk of metal in my driveway/garage. I could see this place being great if you shop in person as they appear to have a nice selection. So I would only recommend them if you go to them in person. I know classic cars aren't perfect, especially at this price point, but it'd be nice if it ran as it was said that the car did run. Update: Again, my fault for buying site unseen and over paying but if the car is a project, just be honest in the ad, although that may not bring as high of a price. We (yes an actual mechanic) have been non stop working on this unreliable (but came with a page of info/details that says the car is reliable and runs great) car. When it does run, its not totally terrible, but I can fully understand why the previous owner might have sold this car. There are many electrical and vacuum related issues on this thing that are a huge pain. The car has also died while driving (electrical). So that's fun. Way too many parts, time, and money have been thrown at this thing. I'd love to enjoy it, but that's just not possible at the moment. More

Class Operation After an extended search, I recently bought a classic 1958 MGA from the DFW location for Streetside Classics. Having never purchased a classic car I After an extended search, I recently bought a classic 1958 MGA from the DFW location for Streetside Classics. Having never purchased a classic car I was a bit apprehensive, but found the experience smooth and stress free. My sales rep (Jason Gonzales) was courteous, responsive and very helpful in my evaluation of the car and in working with my insurer and lender. All my questions were answered to my satisfaction and there was never a hint of pressure. Their inventory is mouthwatering and very accessible to the casual or serious looker. I would readily recommend this dealership to anyone interested in a classic car. More
