I was very nervous about purchasing an out-of-state vehicle that did not have a current title. I was told by the staff (salesperson and office manager) that a letter from the George Tax Commissioner a vehicle that did not have a current title. I was told by the staff (salesperson and office manager) that a letter from the George Tax Commissioner and the current registration would suffice because "we've sold a ton of cars to California buyers with no issue." It must be my bad luck because my DMV will not issue a title and is giving me problems with the registration, as well. I would highly recommend that the dealer be little more upfront about the process. It would also help if the sales agent would actually reach out to me at least once via telephone phone during the process instead of resorting to one word text messages. A.K.A...."customer service." To all of you reading this out there on the internet, I was leery of making such a large investment online, so I sent an appraiser to take a look at the car I was interested in. Once he said it was good, we pulled the trigger and purchased my childhood dream! We chose to pick up the car rather than have it shipped. Let me tell you, pictures and video (although super awesome) do no justice to what you will see when you step foot into the warehouse. I could not believe the difference in how the car looked in pics and video versus when I walked up to it. More
