Not all heroes wear capes, sometimes they wear a polo shirt with a company logo. Alex went above and beyond to help me today. I could describe the entire matter, but that's not the take away. The take aw shirt with a company logo. Alex went above and beyond to help me today. I could describe the entire matter, but that's not the take away. The take away is that Alex, on a Wednesday afternoon, provided the BEST IN CLASS service. Relationships are what make organizations successful...and you've got a winner behind the counter in Alex. Please thank HIM and the leadership that fosters this 'whatever it takes' partnership with your customers. Well done! More

My wife and I considered selling our car to avoid having to interact with this dealership. If it weren't for the fact that we love our Golf GTI, we would have. We made an appointment with them when we firs to interact with this dealership. If it weren't for the fact that we love our Golf GTI, we would have. We made an appointment with them when we first purchased the car (from a different dealer). We wanted to have them look it over and the Apple Car Play wasn't working which was something that we wanted to have fixed. Upon arriving at my appointment time I was informed that the appointments do not reserve a time for my car to be seen and are "virtually meaningless except to allow [them] to anticipate the amount of people [they] expect that day." -employee This is extremely annoying as we live over an hour away from the dealership. I had to plead to have my car at least inspected before the trial period was up. I had to take time off work to bring the car in to get the Apple Car Play looked at and bring it in as soon as the dealership opened as was recommended by the staff. They did offer a car service which was convenient. They took hours longer than they predicted to look at the car and told me that they needed to order a part to fix it. This is fine, I don't expect them to have every part on hand. I ordered the part and made another appointment to have it fixed. After a over a week of waiting I called them and discovered they had failed to call and tell me my part had arrived. I made the trek there again to have is repaired. I kept calling for updates. Remember, I am basically stuck an hour away from home without a car, and kept getting vague answers as to when the car would be done. Eventually I got fed up and got a ride home from a friend. This was a good thing as the car would not actually be repaired by the end of the day as promised. Finally, I get a call saying that the repair was completed, and we show up to pick up the car. We test the Apple Car Play in the parking lot before leaving and discover that it still isn't working. We went back to tell the staff. They put an admirable amount of effort into it discovering the issue again. This was still frustrating, however, because it seems to me this should have been tested. Eventually, I am told that they will need another part and I have to schedule another appointment once it is in. I drove down one more time to get it repaired. Things are fine now. For those of you keeping track that is four visits for the same issue. A total of 9.5 hours of driving and roughly 640 miles. Had the problem not been under warranty I would have found someone else to fix it. In the future, we intend not return to this dealership. The Staff seemed indifferent to the issues that they caused and no compensation, or even remorse, was offered for making us come back so many times. I suppose that we would have had a slightly better experience had we lived closer by, but still the lack of customer service, communication, and general competency made us regret purchasing a VW at all. This is something I find unacceptable and I hope that this review will help others from dealing with the same issues in the future. More
I have had horrible luck since leasing my Tiguan, from the dealership to VW tossing me back and forth it’s been a real process. However, Pua was amazing. This is an EXCELLENT VW Dealer and Service department! Do not take your Volkswagen anywhere else. I would highly recommend you go to Street Volkswagen of Amarillo and I would highly recommend service Advisor not take your Volkswagen anywhere else. I would highly recommend you go to Street Volkswagen of Amarillo and I would highly recommend service Advisor Andy Spring to anyone. My Fiancé and I where driving cross Country from Atlanta to California in our family vehicle (Volkswagen Atlas). We experienced a suspension failure on I 40 so we stopped in Amarillo, got a hotel and dropped the car off at the Street Volkswagen service department less than an hour before the service department closed on a Friday night. I have worked in the car business for 13 years and fully expected the typical car dealership run around experience…. What we got was beyond our expectation. Andy Spring was the Service Advisor who assisted us. Andy met us when we pulled pulled in the service drive, he took great care of us. He took the time to ride along with us to pinpoint the exact issue with the Atlas. Andy even offered to personally drive us to our hotel because we had arrived at the dealership as the service drive was closing. I will also add that Street VW not only has a friendly, knowledgeable group of people working there but they have wonderful customer service and wonderful facilities too. The waiting area at Street VW is nicer, cleaner, has more amenities and a larger array of food and beverage than our local Mercedes Dealership. I have worked as a finance manger at 7 luxury Car dealerships (Mercedes and BMW dealers) Street VW has a nicer and cleaner service department hands down than any Luxury dealer I’ve been to and this is coming from a car guy. They have a waiting area with better amenities, and better array of food and beverage than any BMW or Mercedes Dealer. More
