Street Volkswagen of Amarillo - Service Center

I called to get a quote to replace the brake pads on my car. When I called I was told the price and specifically asked what all that included. They told me that it was for the brake pads and turning the ro car. When I called I was told the price and specifically asked what all that included. They told me that it was for the brake pads and turning the rotors. They also told me that they suggested that I replace the brake fluid. When we got there and waited for several hours they came out and told us that there was an issue because they didn’t have the sensors that my car required and told us that it was going to be several more hours while that got the sensors from a dealership a couple hours drive away. We ended up getting a loaner and having to go back the next day to pick up my car. Turns out that they replaced the rotors because they didn’t have the capability to even turn the rotors. Why in the xxxx would they tell a customer when they are calling to get a quote that turning the rotors was part of replacing the brakes to not even be able to do that in the first place?!?! Very disappointed!!! Ended up having to pay twice as much as what I was quoted for new rotors. I’ll just drive the 3 hours one way next time and go to the dealership that I know will have the parts needed and can turn my rotors! More
