Love the SUV.. loved the fact that they worked to get us a loan in the price range we needed but are extremely disappointed that we were told (and signed the "What we owe you" form saying) they would replac a loan in the price range we needed but are extremely disappointed that we were told (and signed the "What we owe you" form saying) they would replace the rear tires that were bald, but then after we signed all the forms & completed all paperwork and provided the down payment we were told that they would not be replacing the tires. They said someone should have told us before but no one ever did and they apologized and sent us on our way. Needless to say, this made us feel like we'd been lied to and cheated. I would have rated this purchase a 10 on a scale from 1 to 10, but this dropped it down to more like a 6 or 7. James also told us that he would research prices for the tires and see if he could get a good price for us but we haven't heard from him since besides to take this survey through an e-mail. Extremely disappointed in his customer service at this point. He was also the one who was suppose to tell us about the tires and then blamed the Finance Department for not doing so beforehand. Jerry & Hamid were excellent to work with and helped us out very much. More
My experience in dealing with Street Toyota has been an excellent one. The vehicle that I purchased was actually in better condition than what I expected. And even though this was a purchase through EBAY, excellent one. The vehicle that I purchased was actually in better condition than what I expected. And even though this was a purchase through EBAY, more than four states away - the staff has more then gone out of their way to see that the truck was promptly delivered to me, and they have checked with me a number of times to make sure that I've been happy with the purchase. Blake Pagett sold me the truck. He was very professional but yet retained a friendly attitude. I did feel that he was called away from me too many times, to help other salesman, (to put someone in a loner but yet retained a friendly attitude. I did feel that he was called away from me too many times, to help other salesman, (to put someone in a loner car, etc.) But that certainly want his fault. My overall experience was good, barring a few complications with the the installation of extras that i purchased. I do appreciate being treated as a potential new car buyer, instead of just a woman. Pampa made that mistake when the salesman suggested we "wait on you're husband". BAD MISTAKE!!! More
My husband had gone to an independent auto dealership the weekend of July 7th; and, he had found a nice, red, 2009 Camry that he was interested in purchasing (but I was out of town for the week of Fourth of weekend of July 7th; and, he had found a nice, red, 2009 Camry that he was interested in purchasing (but I was out of town for the week of Fourth of July). The following weekend, my husband took me by the dealership to test drive the red Camry. It was okay, but seemed dark and confining inside. When my husband again talked to the salesman, the agent raised the price he had quoted my husband by $1,000.00 (we believe due to the fact the salesman told us that someone else was also interested in purchasing the car and would be back on Monday. By the way, the red car is still sitting in that dealer's lot). Since I was not that "sold" on the red card, my husband and I decided to see what Street Toyota had in stock. My husband had looked at Street's website and had seen a white, 2004 Camry listed. He called Street and got Doc Holladay. We went to the dealership to look around and saw the gold, 2011 Camry. We test drove the car and I liked it much more than the red car at the other dealership. My husband very generously decided to trade in his 2000 Nissan pickup for the car, and he is now driving our old 1998 Camry that we also bought used from Street Toyota. More

His follow-through on the sale was thorough--our trade-in was still being serviced by a Chevrolet dealer and was not ready at the time of signing on our new purchase; but he worked with us so that we could get rid of that piece of junk as easily as possible. Jerry Garcia was the financial advisor and explained about the warranties and what they would provide. Everything was clearly set down. We had set up our loan with Amarillo Community Federal Credit Union before making our second visit to Street Toyota. It was a bonus that both entities were set up to work closely, making the whole process of buying our car as easy as possible. More
