Ben is fun to work with. I am from the old school and like to negotiate the price. I don't think Ben was quite sure how to take me at first but he learned and we met on a price both of us could live with like to negotiate the price. All of our dealings with Street Toyota have been very positive. The dealership is a fabulous place to be and all of the people working there seem to always be happy. Whether it is working with a salesman positive. The dealership is a fabulous place to be and all of the people working there seem to always be happy. Whether it is working with a salesman or a service man, they are very attentive, accommodating, and pleasant to be around. This has proven to be the best dealership we have ever dealt with. As a woman, I am the one who brings the car in for service, and I have never been made to feel uncomfortable. I was looking for a new (to me) vehicle. My husband and I looked at what seemed like every lot in town. I had an idea of what I wanted and really never even found anything I wanted to test drive until we got looked at what seemed like every lot in town. His name is Blair Smith. He was so friendly and outgoing. Told him we had been everywhere looking at cars. He asked what I was looking for and by now, I didn't have a clue. I saw the FJ Cruiser and was in love. He went with us to test drive one and I wanted it so bad. He was very knowlegable about the FJ CRuiser. You could just tell he loved where he was working and believed in it. I needed to think about it because I wanted to make sure that was really what I wanted because it didn't have all the bells and whistles on it that I thought I wanted. He gave us his card and we left the lot and went home to talk about it. It didn't take long to realize that I really wanted it bad.After calling Blair, we brought my trade in with us and went in to do the all time consuming paperwork. The part of buying a new car I dread the most. I had already secured financing through my bank but Blair suggested I try to get a better deal through Toyota. I hesitated but decided to try. He was right, I got a fantastic interest rate. Blair and everyone there made the process painless. Everyone was friendly and professional. I watched as other costomers were helped and was impressed with how they were treated as well. I will definately do business there again. My dad has always driven a Toyota and also speaks highly of everyone there. I couldn't wait to call him and tell him I finally had a Toyota!! The shopping and buying experience was an actually very pleasant one. All of the people in the process were very professional, courteous and genuinely committed to doing a great job. I purchased a used 2010 Tacoma in March of 2010. The vehicle was missing the radio antena, rear seat headrests and second remote key fob and key. Mr. Campbell asured me that he was speaking with the fo vehicle was missing the radio antena, rear seat headrests and second remote key fob and key. Mr. Campbell asured me that he was speaking with the former owner to retreive the items mentioned above. I contacted the dealer a week after purchase and still none of the items had been provided and I had not been contacted by Mr. Campbell. When I spoke with him he did provide a used antena so our radio would work but he said he did not have any information on the headrests and second key fob and key. He again asured me that he was still trying. After hearing nothing for months, I contacted Mr. Campbell again, this time by email in the spring of 2011. He said that he did not have the items promised but he would arrange for use to get a second key made. I brought the truck in during in February or March of 2011 and finally had the second key delivered at no cost to me. I have been very disappointed in the with the dealership and their lack of follow-through to get the missing items. I wish I had gotten the promises in writing before making the purchase. Although I am happy with the vehicle, I would be reluctant to purchase another vehicle from this dealership because of this. More
I have known Marshall Newkirk for several years and he has always done what he said he would do. Overall I have been very satisfied with my Tundra and the dealer service I have received. Rose Davenport was an excellent salesperson. She explained the operation of the vehicle very well, and gave us her cell phone number so that we could call her at any time with questions. I believe she worked hard to get us a good price on the Prius; I didn't get the price I wanted but she was honest and explained why she couldn't get that price and I was satisfied with that. I would highly recommend her to my friends. Street Toyota has great customer service and I am very happy with the fact that I went local instead of shopping around the country for a better price. Their customer service more than makes up for any price saving that I might have made with a dealer in another city. They greet you at the door with a smile, offer you a drink and/or a cookie, and their waiting area is very comfortable. Their service on the vehicle is trusted since I believe that dealerships know the vehicles better than independents. If you do not want to wait, they have a courtesy vehicle that will take you where you need to go and come and get you to bring you back. Overall, with the salesperson and the follow-up customer service, it has been a great experience. When I choose to buy another car, I will go there first. More
After owning my 2010 Toyota Camry for nearly 2 years now, The last visit was the final straw. My mother had brought the vehicle in for a routine front end alignment. The service manager informed her that they could not perform a front end alignment on the vehicle without new tires. Anyone who is even slightly mechanically inclined knows the tires have nothing to do with the front end alignment. The alignment can however affect tread-wear of the tires, which was the case. The BF Goodrich tires that came on the vehicle were completely worn out on the passenger side in 15,000 miles. (After 3 Rotation and Balance visit) Hence why I was there to get the alignment done before hand so I could purchase tires at a later date. I will never take my car, or my money to Street Toyota. I had discussed a purchase with Ben a few months before. He was very knowledgable and continues to this day to be more than your average salesman. Overall, my experience at Street Toyota has been above average. When it comes time to purchase another vehicle, it will be a Toyota and I will return to Street Toyota. More
We have dealt with Doc Holladay before on a lease. When we decided to buy a new vehicle, we came back to the person that made us feel comfortable. He is pleasant and not pushy.
