Do not buy from Steet Smart Auto Brokers!!!! It all started when I found a truck I liked on 7/3/2020 and I was working out the numbers for my payment with a salesman named Jose Gonzalez. Long story sho started when I found a truck I liked on 7/3/2020 and I was working out the numbers for my payment with a salesman named Jose Gonzalez. Long story short we agree on a $517.00 payment with money down and my trade in. They give me a temp tag and I’m off. I come back in two days to sign the sales contract and other paper work with the dealer representative/financing Mike B . Mike has a monthly payment for me of $580.00. I tell him that’s not the agreed payment I had with sales two days ago and says that’s what he has in front on him. He never tried calling the salesman or anyone else to see what’s going on. This is where he really gets crooked. He tells me about my warranty that was 100,000 miles “bumper to bumper” a very loose term used by these crooks. I tell him the truck has 87,000 miles on it and that won’t last long. So he says I’ll make it go to 150,000 miles and I’ll give you a military discount and a Cosco discount to bring your payment down to $556 still not the 517 I was told in the beginning of the sale. I’m not in the Military and I don’t work for Cosco and he gets my payment down to $.556.00 . I ask him what would it take to get my payment back to $517.00 and he says 3000 off the price of the truck . Mike says they won’t do that. I’m upset already because they lied to me about my monthly payment and just wanted to get out of this crooked dealership so I rush thru signing my paperwork not reading everything and leave. When I get home I read my paperwork and notice there is a $2996.00 warranty added in on my sales agreement. Mike B never asked me if I would like to purchase a warranty at any time I was in his office and never disclosed a price a warranty would cost. I figured it out that when I went to his office he had already added the warranty into my paper work that was $2995 and that’s why my payment went up to 580.00. As Mike B said it would take $3000 dollars off the price to get me back to my original payment of $517.00. That warranty was the extra $2995 that was added in and made my payment go up. Mike did this for his own self gain. I call Mike B and the manager and tell them I never agreed on a $2995 warranty and would like to cancel it because Mike B never asked if I would like to buy a extended Warranty at any time. They said there is nothing they can do and the paperwork finalized. Mike B was rude on the phone and very defensive as he knows I was on to his scam. He makes a lot of money selling warranty’s or should I say slipping them into customers contracts with him never asking if you are interested in buying a extended warranty. I call the warranty company Century Service Plus that by the way has horrible reviews and they tell me the warranty is still pending and Street Smart Auto is who has to cancel it and it can be done. I’m still waiting for Street Smart Auto to call me back. It’s a disgrace and a insult to see Street Smart Auto Hand out Military Discounts to people that never served in the military just to get a sale finalized and the buyers payment down so they will sign the paperwork. They gave me a Military discount and I never served in the military. They gave me a Cosco discount and I don’t work for Cosco. Maybe the local news needs to hear about these discounts being handed out like candy. I told Mike B that I wasn’t in the Military when he asked but he gave me a Military discount just to get my price lower so I would sign the paperwork and he could rip me off by making money on a extended warranty he never asked me to purchase but slipped it into my sales contract anyway. Do youself a favor and do business elsewhere. This was the worst car buying experience I ever had in my life. Not one employee was practicing COVID-19 operating policies. Not one employee had a face mask on. Not during the test drive, in the office or during the final signing of the contract. I was sitting three feet away from Mike at his desk and he wasn’t wearing a face mask. This business needs to follow the COVID-19 operating policies! More
