They seem to know as much as the Straatman people about Toyota's because they actually know vehicles,not just how to read sensor but listen to the engines rather than rely on their hourly rate to tell them the problem with a vehivle. More

Poor Service I took my Rav4 in for an ID/OD inspection. The inspection was done and I was handed the receipt which I assumed was stapled to the ID/OD form. I sho I took my Rav4 in for an ID/OD inspection. The inspection was done and I was handed the receipt which I assumed was stapled to the ID/OD form. I should have checked! When I got home I looked for the ID/OD form and it was MIA. I called Straatmann and spoke with Steve, the service manager who said it was placed on the front seat. When I told him it wasn't there he said he would check with the tech. He called back and said the tech put it on the front seat and they could not furnish a copy. Since I never received one I asked for a refund of $12.00. He refused. He said I would need to pay $12 again for another inspection. I felt they were calling me a liar. Why would I ask for one if I received one in the first place?? It seems my future business was not worth their time or $12. I no longer trust Straatmann Toyota and will never return there for service or to purchase a new car! More

No games excellent deal I am a former Toyota MDT (master diagnostic technician) / ASE master technician and worked at 2 Toyota dealerships in the southern IL AREA FOR A TOTA I am a former Toyota MDT (master diagnostic technician) / ASE master technician and worked at 2 Toyota dealerships in the southern IL AREA FOR A TOTAL OF 9 years before getting out of the business. My wife and I were looking for a new Toyota 4Runner and this was the sixth and final dealer that we tried to buy a car from including the two dealerships that I was formerly employed at and WOW WHAT A GREAT EXPERIENCE!! Special thanks to Kery and Dave. I HIGHLY recommend Straatmann Toyota to anyone looking for the same experience that I had today. I only hope they my stumble across this review and understand how appreciative were are. More

I had to have my car towed to the nearest Toyota dealer and Straatman was it. I have to admit that I was hesitant not going to my regular car place, but Greg at Straatman put my mind at ease right away. He called me when they found out what was wrong, then laughed that I would never live that mistake down in my family; he laughed saying, 'yeah, probably not!'. He didn't know the exact price before they started pumping out the diesel fuel, but told me about the disposable fee, and that the car would be fine after they got it all out. It wasn't cheap, since I had a full tank, but all in all the experience with Straatman was a good one, and I wouldn't hesitate going back. More
My vehicle left me roadside and I had it towed to Straatmann Toyota for service. I called to let them know what the problem was, and I could not have been treated any nicer than I was on that day. I turned out it was a warranty problem and I was given a vehicle to drive while mine is being serviced. I highly recommend Straatmann Toyota for any service needs on your vehicle. Although they're a little far out west for most folks in the St. Louis metro area, my wife and I have had two relatively pleasant experiences with this dealership. They didn't answer e-mail requests, but promptly answered phone requests. Their initial price quote was good (although not great) over the phone, but they agreed to meet any other St. Louis area dealer's price (and they did). The F&I guy is a little bit of a head case, but most F&I guys are (just practice saying "no" at home for a while, and you'll be fine). Even though it is a little bit of a drive to get out to see these guys, it will probably be worth it to you when you are ready to buy. Although I'm sure they'd be more than accomodating if you wanted to do a test drive, there's no reason to go all the way out to Washington, MO to do such - just make the trip when you've settled on what you want and are ready to seal the deal. More
Went here after being jerked around by every Toyota dealer in metro St. Louis for nearly a month. I'm glad we did - within 1/2 hour we came to reasonable agreement on a price for a new RAV4, and drove dealer in metro St. Louis for nearly a month. I'm glad we did - within 1/2 hour we came to reasonable agreement on a price for a new RAV4, and drove it off the lot the next day (we finalized our own financing in the interim). IMHO, if you're thinking about a Toyota and you live in the St. Louis metro area, I wouldn't bother with all the con artists in metro St. Louis - the longer trip is worth the savings on price, not to mention the hassle you'll get in the immediate metro area. If every customer knew about this dealer, I'm certain the metro area's toyota dealers would all be out of business. More
