My experience with Stonebriar Chevrolet has been nothing short of a nightmare. I recently purchased a pre-owned BMW from this dealership, and I can honestly say it’s been one of the worst car-buying experie short of a nightmare. I recently purchased a pre-owned BMW from this dealership, and I can honestly say it’s been one of the worst car-buying experiences I’ve ever had. From the very beginning, I felt pressured by the finance manager to purchase a warranty for my new vehicle. I was repeatedly told that this warranty would cover all engine, transmission, and electrical issues. Unfortunately, the issues started almost immediately. After I drove the car home, I noticed a substantial oil puddle beneath it. Concerned, I rushed back to the dealership for assistance. They claimed that the problem was a result of over-tightening the oil pan bolt during an oil change. They assured me that it was fixed, and I reluctantly believed them, only to discover the same leak persisting the next day. This initiated a frustrating cycle of multiple attempts to fix the oil leak by Stonebriar Chevrolet. They replaced the drain plug four times but couldn’t seem to resolve the issue. Eventually, they referred me to a BMW dealership to address the problem. The BMW technicians quickly diagnosed the issue as a simple oil change and correctly torqued the bolt, finally eliminating the leak. However, they also identified additional issues such as cracked ball joints and faulty wiring, which should have been covered by the warranty I had been coerced into purchasing. To my shock, when I reached out to the warranty company, they refused to cover the electrical problems and ball joint repairs, stating that my specific plan didn’t include these issues. This was in direct contradiction to what the finance manager at Stonebriar Chevrolet had promised me during the sale. I was left baffled and frustrated. In search of clarification and a resolution, I decided to speak with the manager, Isaiah, at Stonebriar Chevrolet. I presented the BMW invoice, highlighted the finance manager’s promises about the warranty, and questioned why these issues even existed at the time of purchase, considering I hadn’t signed any documents stating that the vehicle was ‘as is.’ Instead of attempting to find a solution or address my concerns, Isaiah and another manager left me waiting for an hour. In the end, I received no explanation or assistance. All my subsequent phone calls were ignored, leading to immense frustration. My experience with Stonebriar Chevrolet has been marred by deception, unfulfilled promises, and a complete lack of customer support. I strongly advise prospective buyers to exercise caution when considering a purchase from this dealership, and to thoroughly inspect any warranty offers before making a decision. My hope is that my ordeal will serve as a cautionary tale for others and encourage dealerships to uphold their commitments and offer more transparent and responsible customer service. More
Nothing wrong with the service, it is time for Chevrolet dealers to pony up and offer more than vending machines for customers to buy products.
