On 10 Oct 2022 I visited Stonebriar Chevrolet and asked for an estimate to bodywork to my 2022 Corvette. I was given an estimate and told that it would take 10 days to receive the necessary parts. I am for an estimate to bodywork to my 2022 Corvette. I was given an estimate and told that it would take 10 days to receive the necessary parts. I am a pilot and had a 2-week international trip scheduled on 14 Oct. I dropped my car off on the 14th before my trip at Stonebriar Chevrolet and asked them to complete the repairs and gave them the information for my insurance company. I had hoped that when I returned, the car would be finished. I received a follow up text from Michael Perez my service advisor stating I could contact him via text or by voice on that same phone number. I attempted several times to contact Mr Perez via text and voice but received no reply. I then asked for the service manager and asked what was the progress with my vehicle. He told me that Mr Perez no longer worked for the dealership and would now assign the task to another advisor. On Wed 26 Oct 2022 I spoke with my new advisor Aubry at Stonebriar Chevrolet and asked him the status. He told me nothing had been done. Later on this date an updated estimate was provided by Stonebriar Chevrolet to my insurance company and an additional payment was issued to the dealership. On Friday 28 Oct I called again for an update. Aubry was not in, so I asked for the service manager. He told me again nothing had been done. I returned home on Sunday 30 Oct and visited the dealership on Monday morning 31 Oct. I asked for the service manager. He was not in but I did speak with someone standing in and also Aubry my service advisor. He informed me that they still had not even ordered parts after having my car for 17 days but thought he could get them ordered today. I expressed my displeasure. The stand-in service manager then went back to the service director. They discussed the matter and then came out and told me that they were not “certified” to perform bodywork on corvettes. I asked him why they didn’t tell me this when I brought the car in. He had no answer. I asked him how long they were intending to keep my car before telling me…and again he had no answer. I told him that I found his answers unacceptable and that they should have a process to handle issues better and that I thought it was unbelievable that they kept my car 17 days before telling me they were not qualified to work on it. He then instructed the stand-in manager to “get this guy out of here”. I am still dumbfounded at the lack of competence at all levels of this dealerships service department. More

Salesmans Adi Ali gets an A+, the dealership gets a F I purchased a 2017 Porsche Panamera from California. My previous car was a new Audi A5 from an Audi dealership with first class sales and service I purchased a 2017 Porsche Panamera from California. My previous car was a new Audi A5 from an Audi dealership with first class sales and service. Stonebriar Chevrolet did not live up to that but my sales person Adi Ali was top notch. Adi was very responsive to all my questions and took a friend living in Dallas on a test drive while video calling me. I highly recommend Adi. Everything else about the experience at the dealership was shady. David Mitchell in their Finance dept did a hard sell on the extended warranty for ~$8k extra. They try to make it more appealing for those less financially savvy by telling you it will only cost $X/month if its added to the loan versus saying what the full cost of the warranty is. I had to insist that they stop talking to me about monthly payments and say what the true dollar cost was. When I said I didn't want the warranty then David dropped the price by more than 50% which I still declined because I prefer to self insure knowing that statistically extended warranties are not a good deal for consumers - especially if you have a relatively new car - and are high margin add ons for dealers. The dealership has a preferred relationship with one lender (I think it's GM Financial) and only offered me a loan quote from them which they said would be competitive.I insisted they get a loan quote from BoA where I bank and the BoA loan interest rate was a full 2 percentage points lower saving me a lot of money! When David called back to confirm the loan details he again talked about monthly payments versus true costs. The monthly payment seemed suspiciously high. So I asked him to tell me what the purchase price was and coincidentally the price he was using was ~$8k higher than the price I agreed to pay and similar to the original cost of the extended warranty he was pushing hard. David also said he'd send the title paperwork to the DMV location I provided but sent it to another location without letting me know. I only discovered this after going to the DMV I provided and finding there was no title paperwork there. I needed to follow up with Adi several times to figure out what happened and where I needed to go. The icing on the cake was when the car was delivered to me in CA with a damaged driver side mirror which had been scraped against something which left white paint on it. The transport company photos clearly showed the damage was present at the dealership before the car was loaded and shipped to CA. The manager Austin Pritchard denied accountability. When I pointed out to Austin that photos prior to loading showed the damage Austin stopped responding. So this review is a warning to future shoppers about the dealership's shady practices.
