We had talked to Jean on the phone but he was busy when we arrived. He immediately sent Irnes Masic out to serve us. We couldn't have asked for better service. He was knowledgeable, friendly and most accommodating. When it came to closing the deal, there was a pretty big gap between our numbers. However, Irnes and the sales manager David Schilpp worked with us. Our negotiations were professional and without pressure. Never once did we feel like we were being talked down to or tried to made to feel as we were ignorant- which happens at many dealerships. We paid cash so Kurt Mechling in the F&I office got us ready to roll in a matter of minutes. I don't know the young man's name who detailed our car but it was shined up and spotless when we pulled off the lot. I've bought many cars over my 57 years and this ranks as one of the best experiences I've ever had purchasing a vechicle. Great car, great price, great people. Can't ask for more in a dealership. I knew what I wanted, and started the process over the phone with Irnes Masic late in the afternoon. His service was superior. The price for the car was as listed on Cars.com. No surprises like adding in dealer fees or destination/freight charges, unlike some other dealers who list great low prices on Cars.com, only to add those charges back into the final price. Irnes held the car for me just to make sure it wouldn’t sell, but never pressured me into anything. We drove 4-hours to get there on Saturday and everything was ready. Kurt Mechling in finance was great. He went over possible warranty add-ons, but absolutely NO pressure to purchase. I would definitely suffer through Atlanta traffic to go back to this dealership. Outstandin price, friendly and honest employees. If you are in the market for a VW, even if you are hours away, I would recommend Stone Mountain Volkswagen to anyone. They made this a painless, enjoyable experience. More
