I was fortunate enough to have met my salesman Fred Sachmechi through luck of his being available that day. Not only was Fred what one would expect a professional sales consultant to be in appearance and manners he was extraordinarily considerate throught the sales process. The sales manager for pre-owned cars, Chris Mooney, joined the sales process for the close and was very reasonable (no undue pressure) to wra,p it up. Notably at the end, during delivery, after having demonstrated the car to me early on (I purchased it alone) he took the time to go over every detail of using the car with my wife who joined me to take delivery. This happened to include setting up the power memory seats and bluetooth for her phone. Nice extra steps for this gentleman to take. I recommend Fred because of his outstanding personal and professional qualities in addition to his extensive lnowledge about Lexus vehicles. More

From the first sales/leasing consultant I me I had the privilege of purchasing my first certified pre-owned certified vehicle at Lexus of Massapequa. From the first sales/leasing consultant I met and spoke to on the phone (Joseph) to the Sales Manager (Chris) and Financial Services Director, (Larry)— and all the others (Lindsay) in the dealership who genuinely seemed kind, interested and happy for me, I was VERY pleased with the overall experience of purchasing a pre-owned certified vehicle at Lexus of Massapequa. My experience of buying the car included direct contact of both the salesman and a sales manager-- often dealing with Chris Bohamonde as I considered the purchase of a 2014 Lexus 250IS. Chris was extremely helpful and VERY patient with me while answering my questions and handling my personal financial situation—and, I must say his expertise really helped in my decision to purchase the vehicle at Lexus of Massapequa. I did not get the feeling the team I worked with was like the typical salesperson that customers run into in a typical car dealership. I pride myself as someone who will use my intuition to size up different employees at car dealerships. Most of the ridiculous "back and forth" and waiting for responses and lengthy negotiations between the salesperson and sales manager did not take place. The team who worked with me never felt like the anticipated hard sell, pushy car salesperson I had seen and heard before-- and mostly they were able offer me different scenarios that I could actually go home and think about. After spending much time with Chris, Joseph did what most car salespeople do—called me back and seemed interested, but not in a pushy way. Chris made changes to his initial offer, offering to throw in "the-one time-only” $500 sales certificates, etc. as he could see I truly liked the car, he also came down in price in a genuine way that seemed to work for all, one time certificate or not, we met half-way :-) I now believe, rather than keeping the sales manager out of sight during negotiations, the team at Lexus of Massapequa could change the way cars are sold, and make MORE sales by bringing the FACE of the manger out into the showroom and sit across from the customers like me, in the same way Chris did! While it was time consuming, I tell you, it worked to keep me around! I particularly liked the personable approach and the people who were willing to work with me on price, type of car and explain all the different workings of the vehicle. From start to finish at 11:00 pm, no-one complained about working late hours! Even after I bought the car, and was helped to return my lease to another dealer, I had all of my questions answered (once or twice via text when I had questions about the vehicle after the sale was complete). I would recommend this dealership for anyone interested in purchasing a Lexus. Don't let the age of the building or size of the showroom steer you away, as the dealership, I am told is moving to a newer location in Farmingdale at some point soon. More
