Used Car Extended Warranty Scam I purchased a 100K used car extended warranty and signed a contract stating so. The entire conversation was 100k warranty etc and I reviewed my contract before signing it. When reviewing my paperwork, 4 months later, I see a pamphlet about Toyota Warranty and on the cover it says 75k warranty. I called Atlantic Lexus and the person I spoke to looked it up on the computer and assured me that I purchased a 100k warranty and directed me to where I can see that on my signed contract which I did see. I called Toyota Warranty number to verify and they told me I had a 75k warranty. They put me on hold to discuss with the dealer and when the rep returned he said that the person at Atlantic Lexus entered the wrong code - he entered Q77 instead of G77. The Toyota rep said that the lexus dealer needed to "flat cancel in error" and reissue my warranty with the correct code. I went to Atlantic LExus to straighten it out and the manager said that he needed to talk to someone else that wasnt in that day and to call back tomorrow. He said he needs to "find out which document was printed out in error". So, after shuffling me around, and giving me incorrect information about my warranty they want me to call them back. Customer service seems to be terrible, I plan on having my lawyer call them back. More
Always a bulb issue So I thought I give the dealer one more shot, took my car for an oil change and inspection on 6/3/2020. Guess what again some bulbs are out. Amazing how they are out after I just checked them fore I brought the car in, since this seems to be an ongoing issue whenever I bring my car to Atlantic Lexus. The two bulbs cost $49.99 to change, and if I don’t change the bulbs I can’t get my inspection done. JUST AMAZING at what they charge to change bulbs, time to take my service someone where else. Warning to any other customers, this is not the first time I had an issue with this location, horrible customer service. They are looking to sucker people in and over charge!! More
