The showroom was nice and comfortable and we were made to feel at ease. Carie Moreau was great to work with. She was super friendly and helpful. The vehicle we were inquiring about had already been sold and feel at ease. Carie Moreau was great to work with. She was super friendly and helpful. The vehicle we were inquiring about had already been sold and the most comparable vehicle's price was higher than we had hoped. However, Carie made it clear to us that it fell within local comparisons, Bluebook, etc. One minor suggestion I would make is to change the music in the showroom. I realize a private business can do as they please, but the Christian music quickly became annoying to both of us. Otherwise, I wouldn't change a thing. More
I called Stokes Brown Toyota to help with my 90K service on my 2003 Toyota. Being there is a lot involved with this service I was hoping for a knowledgable service rep to help me. Stephen Graham answered on my 2003 Toyota. Being there is a lot involved with this service I was hoping for a knowledgable service rep to help me. Stephen Graham answered the phone and was patient enough to help with all my questions. Never once did I get the feeling he wanted to just answer my questions and take my money. I asked for a quote on the service and he sent it via email in a matter of minutes. Upon getting to Stokes the morning of the service, I had a few more questions for Stephen about adding additional items, etc. The price for the service was right at what we discussed. Upon completion I was given a breakdown of the work completed and a note was made of a few items that will need attention in the future. This wasn't my first visit to Stokes and it won't be last. I've been back to this dealer several times for the same problem, low tire pressure. I have nitrogen tires. Each time they have fixed the problem and have been a pleasure. I have dealt with Curtis and Jer problem, low tire pressure. I have nitrogen tires. Each time they have fixed the problem and have been a pleasure. I have dealt with Curtis and Jeremy, both equally great. This last time I was there (2/5/11, for my tires again) they actually found a nail in my tire, which was the reason I kept having low tire pressure. Unfortunately, because of where the nail is, I was told they couldn't plug it because it wouldn't hold and that I needed a new tire. But, per my request, I had them put a plug in it anyway to buy me a little time before purchasing a new tire. I was also having a problem with my rear widshield. Every time I put my rear defogger on, it made my radio stations all go static. So they are getting me a new rear windshield because this is a defect. All in all I am very pleased with the treatment and service I have been provided each time I have visited this Toyota dealer. More
On 02/04/11 I was driving from Atlanta to Hilton Head & the tire pressure light on my 07 Highlander came on. I had stopped immediately & had the tires checked at a Walmart & was told there was no problem & the tire pressure light on my 07 Highlander came on. I had stopped immediately & had the tires checked at a Walmart & was told there was no problem, but I still did not feel comfortable, so when I made it to Hilton Head I saw the Stokes Brown Toyota & stopped to have the tires reckecked, this is here I meet Jeremy German, he was very friendly & promised to have the car checked in a very short time. He later told me all 5 tires had been low ( to include the spare) & they had been filled & I could be on my way at no charge. I left & drove about 2 miles when the tire pressure light came on again, so I turned around & went back to see Jeremy once more. He came out & rechecked the tires & they were fine, so he thought the indicator light must not have been reset correctly, so he reset it himself & again I was on my back to Atlanta with no more problems. As a woman traveling alone on a very rainy cold day it was of great comfort to feel confident in my vehicle's road worthiness due to the professionalism of the staff at Stokes Brown Toyota & especailly Jeremy German, thank you. The service took longer than anticipated so wanted ride home. Another customer got into the truck first and took up all the space(!). I received a recall notice (master cylinder) on my 2004 Highlander. Within 45 minutes of making a call to the service department, my vehicle was in the shop for the repair. The repair was completed in ab Highlander. Within 45 minutes of making a call to the service department, my vehicle was in the shop for the repair. The repair was completed in about an hour. As part of the recall service an inspection was performed on the entire vehicle. I was advised that my rear brake pad were nearly totally worn out. At first I was skeptical that this was a repair that I really didn't need. In addition, I was concerned that the price quoted for the brake repair was a little high for the job. So while I was waiting for the recall repair, I called a quality independent shop that had performed brake work for me in the past to check their price. Somewhat to my surprise their quote was only a few dollars less. To make a long story short, I was able to return a few hours later (the service consultant advised this because it was lunch time in the shop and my wait time would be doubled if I waited) to have the brake pads replaced. I was able to visually inspect the worn pads before the service and agreed with the service tech that replacement was warranted. The repair was completed in just over an hour. A few end notes: The waiting area is comfortable with tv's and wi-fi. The shop area was very clean and orderly (I always believe that the shop area is a big "tell" about how the service department functions). I would recommend that the waiting area be a bit more insulated from the sounds and sights of the dealership. It would also be good to have a more private area nearby where customers and consultants could discuss repairs in a less public setting. Overall, my experience with all aspects of this visit was excellent. More

I was greeted by Patrick Hayes who went over the details of what would normally be reviewed at 60,000 miles. He was very thorough and personable. I told him that I was also concerned about the engine idealing being rough, and he assured me that it would be investigated. I expected a very long wait, being that a lot of elements of my service were being looked at. Actually, the wait was worth the time, as my 2008 Avalon is running very well, and the idealing issue has been resolved. I would recommend this dealership and Patrick Hayes, as they where more than attentive and got me taken care of and on my way. More
Within the past two years I have developed a relationship with Stokes Brown through Curtis Krauss. Up until that time I did all my servicing on my 2003 430 LS at Lexus dealers in Charlotte NC and Savanna G with Stokes Brown through Curtis Krauss. Up until that time I did all my servicing on my 2003 430 LS at Lexus dealers in Charlotte NC and Savanna Ga. My experience in Charlotte was very good and not so in Savanna. In Savanna I found the dealership difficult to get through to and their service sometimes wasn't so good. They also didn't stand behind their mistakes! So when you folks opened a few years ago I thought I would give you a try and that's when I met Curtis Krauss. Curtis has been responsive before and after the servicing and the service department has done a great job. Curtis has developed a trust with both me and most importantly my wife. Although I do all the interfacing with Curtis,my wife is really the judge of the value.....cost and performance......of her car's maintenance. So we recommend your servicing to our Lexus and Toyota owner friends. With your convenient location and quality service you will do more and more servicing on Lexus'. That's providing that all you Service Managers are as responsive as Curtis More
