We began our search for a Toyota Prius by looking on the internet at all the surrounding dealerships in South Carolina and Georgia. We had a quote from a dealership in Charleston; however, Hilton Head is v internet at all the surrounding dealerships in South Carolina and Georgia. We had a quote from a dealership in Charleston; however, Hilton Head is very close to us, so I called Loren Huisinger. I told him the quote from Charleston and he said this dealership would meet it. We drove over and they gave us a fantastic deal. They not only matched the quote from Charleston, but they added features. Loren couldn't have been a better sales person. He is extremely knowledgeable about the Toyotas and if he doesn't know every detail, he will find out. He is not an overly aggressive salesperson and didn't make me feel hurried about my decision. I can't say enough good things about Toyota of Hilton Head. When I am in the market for another car, used or new, I will begin my search at Toyota of Hilton Head with Loren. More
Chris Brown was friendly, excited and very helpful in selecting a used car. He answered our questions or found the answers to them. James in finance was informative and diligent in helping us obtain financing we could work with. He made calls and looked at options and called back first thing the next day as promised. My wife and I were in Hilton Head for a wedding and needed some minor but needed service if we were to make the wedding on time. I was on vacation from TN and my 4Runner needed immediate servicing and repair. Mr. Krauss understood my concerns about timing of the repair, costs, etc. The repair and servicing was done as requested and servicing and repair. Unfortunately my first two experiences with Stokes Brown of Hilton Head were not favorable. I am a believer in supportng local businesses, so when it came to purchasing my new car I reluctantly returned to give them "one last chance", before committing to another dealer I had been working with. I'm so glad I did! The individuals mentioned above are no longer working there and I was fortunate enough to work with Brette. Brette Reed saved Stokes Brown Toyota of Hilton Head in my mind. He restored my trust and loyalty through his professionalism, respect, attentiveness, and sincerity. He listened to everything I wanted and never tried to talk me into anything I didn't. Through an extensive search he found the exact car I wanted and I couldn't be happier. Paul Osborne and Charles Wersler re-enforced the fabulous customer service I was experiencing with Brette as they worked to get the perfect price and financing that worked for everyone. I feel very fortunate to have walked into this dealership on the afternoon these three gentlemen were working and that I was lucky enough to be able to work with all of them. Thank you gentlemen for your time and respect and for restoring my trust in my "hometown" dealer. Ability of dealer to match my requirements by obtaining a van just as I wanted it from another dealer was great. I had gone into the dealer to see a less desirable van and had a starting price ready for nego van just as I wanted it from another dealer was great. Dealer took the offer and delivered the more desirable (and expensive) van with no negotiations required. My offer was what I decided was a good deal for me but it wasn't a low-ball offer that would insult the dealer. I concluded that by acting fair and knowledgable, the dealer treated me good. The van itself is marvelous and has already seen duty taking neighbors and friends out to affairs. Although it is my van, we think of it as the neighborhood van. More
