We understand your frustration and appreciate your comments. As with all used cars, we are unable to determine when something will malfunction or need a repair of some type. I reviewed the records on this 4Runner and it appears that the customer did have the vehicle in to Service at a Savannah dealer about this check engine light prior to trading the car into one of our stores. I do not, however, have any record of our dealerships resetting this light. It is highly unacceptable to take one of our used vehicles and present it for sale without performing all safety inspections and make sure that all other maintenance concerns are either addressed with the customer or performed prior to selling to a customer. As you drove the car for over a month without this light coming on, we to wouldn't have been able to forsee this happening either. Our General Manager would love to address any concerns that you may have and see if we can somehow reach an agreement rather than cause you any frustration or discontent with our store. We certainly welcome you to contact Archie Brown, our General Manager to discuss.
