We wish we were closer to take advantage of service department, which we encountered on Friday. All the folks were professional. No one gave us the "Columbia run around". Our time was respected, no one "jerked us around" like the Columbia dealer did, and the price was fair both on allowance for my 2006 Camry and the dealer discount. There is no reason to go anywhere else for my next car purchase. I would encourage friends to take the drive to Beaufort in a skinny minute! More

Living over a few hundred miles from the Stokes Brown Toyota dealership, I purchased my vehicle over the phone. Having shopped around for a used Jeep Wrangler TJ at many dealerships, both in-person and Toyota dealership, I purchased my vehicle over the phone. Having shopped around for a used Jeep Wrangler TJ at many dealerships, both in-person and over the phone, this was the first dealership that had salespeople who seemed to actually want my business. Most calls to other dealerships resulted in unmotivated salespeople who promised to call back, and never did, or took days to do so. The first salesman I spoke with, Jay, was a new guy, but still had the courtesy to do a walk-around, as well as sit in, the vehicle while on the phone with me so that any questions I had regarding the condition of the jeep could be answered instantly. He was very polite, and honest. Honesty counts when you are purchasing a vehicle you have never test driven, and have only seen through photos on the internet. How do I know he was honest? Because upon delivery of the vehicle, the specific paint blemishes and dents that he specified over the phone were exactly as he said. He also stated all repairs that were made to the vehicle by the dealership, prior to it being listed for sale. I made an offer on the vehicle, and was called back in an hour and given a price within $100 of my offer. Naturally, I accepted. I was immediately contacted on behalf of the dealership by Alan Fox, who was very upbeat and efficient. Alan was in charge of coordinating all of the payment and paperwork which had to be done over the phone, mail and email, as well as answering any of my questions. This task can be tedious, and involves a lot of back and forth communication from both the dealership, and the buyer. Alan handled everything expertly. There was not one instance, in all the times we spoke on the phone, that he did not have a positive, let's-get-this-accomplished attitude. He would provide me with updates of how the process was moving along at the dealership, and I would provide him with updates of how the process was moving along on my end. Alan was also in charge of dealing with the transport company I contracted to pick up the vehicle and deliver it to me. This process was completed just as smoothly as all my other dealings with Stokes Brown Toyota. From the initial inquiry call I made to the dealership, to the vehicle and keys being handed over, it took a total of 9 days. Is the vehicle as I expected? Yes. Was I impressed with the service? Yes. Will I recommend this dealership? Definitely. More

When I arrived at the dealership I already a particular vehicle in mind. I sought out, Alan Fox, the salesman that sold me my last vehicle. Alan was very friendly and did not pressure me at all. I had already called a few days prior and Alan had the car waiting for me. After the test drive the Stokes Brown team got together and put together a very attractive price. I explained that I was busy that week and that I would get back with them. A few days passed and Alan followed up with me, I got a call from the sales manager just to confirm that I was satisfied with everything, even Archie Brown called to make sure I had been treated well. None of these calls made me feel like I was being pressured. Just before I was about ready to go and purchase the vehicle I decided to compare prices online with other dealers in South Carolina and Georgia. I was pleasantly surprised to see what a good deal I had been offered. On my return trip to the dealership the car was spotless and ready to go. I signed a few papers, was given a few additional options (again, no pressure) and off I went! It's been two weeks now. I love the vehicle. Alan has touched base with me a couple of times to make sure everything is okay. Archie Brown called again to make sure I was pleased and to find out if there was anything they could do to improve on the SBT experience. Even the title clerk called to let me know when to expect my registration. Thanks guys for a hassle free, fun experience. See you at trade-in time! More
