I would give ZERO stars if Google allowed it. We purchased a 2019 Chevy Suburban from Mazda Stokes, and almost immediately after getting the vehicle home, we discovered that it was leaking flu We purchased a 2019 Chevy Suburban from Mazda Stokes, and almost immediately after getting the vehicle home, we discovered that it was leaking fluid. We contacted the dealership, gave them the opportunity to make it right, and brought it back to them. They attempted to fix it. It is now leaking WORSE than it was when we bought it. Let that sink in. We bought a vehicle from a dealership, discovered a significant problem almost immediately, trusted the dealership enough to give them the opportunity to correct it, and somehow ended up with a vehicle in worse condition after their attempted repair. Now we've had to take the vehicle to Chevy to have it properly diagnosed and repaired, because at this point we don't feel comfortable continuing to rely on the dealership that sold it to us. And while our vehicle is being repaired, WE are paying for a rental car out of our own pocket. So within a very short time of spending a significant amount of money on a vehicle, we're now dealing with repairs, inconvenience, lost time, and additional expenses that we never should have had to deal with this soon after purchasing it. What is most infuriating isn't simply that a used vehicle needed a repair. It's how this situation was handled. We gave Mazda Stokes the opportunity to make the situation right, and instead of resolving the problem, the problem became worse. A dealership should stand behind the vehicles it sells. At the very least, when a customer comes back with a legitimate issue almost immediately after purchase, the goal should be to FIX THE PROBLEM — not send the customer down the road with an even bigger one. We trusted this dealership. We shouldn't have. If you're considering buying a used vehicle from Mazda Stokes, DO YOURSELF A FAVOR AND GET AN INDEPENDENT INSPECTION BEFORE YOU BUY IT. Do not assume that because you're buying from a dealership, the vehicle has been properly inspected or that the dealership will take care of you if something goes wrong. Our experience has been incredibly frustrating, expensive, and completely unacceptable. We bought a vehicle. We did not sign up to immediately become responsible for cleaning up someone else's mess — especially after the dealership had an opportunity to fix it and made it worse. Would absolutely NOT recommend Mazda Stokes based on our experience. More
