As for after the sale concerning paperwork and questions my wife and I had, we had a hard time reaching Phillip our salesman and J. R. The finance assistant to get answers to our questions. Phillip said he was busy with customers and J. R. Never called us back. We finally got Christinia to help with tag and title paperwork. Which the wrong address was entered and we gave them the correct mailing address. Seems like they were only concerned with making the sale and not follow up after the sale. I hope we have no other problems going forward. A special thanks go to Earnest Washington for being so helpful to my wife when she had to make a return visit to the dealership. EW More

I think I got a lemon Not happy with my recent purchase of a 2016 Nissan Versa Note. Phillip was pleasant and good to work with and caught a major mistake (i.e., paperwork Not happy with my recent purchase of a 2016 Nissan Versa Note. Phillip was pleasant and good to work with and caught a major mistake (i.e., paperwork for the wrong car and wrong VIN number; manager would not believe it wasn’t Phillip’s error – it wasn’t), but my experience with the dealership was not good from the beginning. I made an hour+ trip to Kia of Augusta because there were so many used car choices on their website. I came with a list of 13 cars; only 2 were available in Augusta, the rest were scattered at other dealerships, and I would have had to purchase the car sight unseen to have any of them transferred to Augusta to see. A third car was listed as being on the Augusta lot, but no one could find it. While I feel the price of my Nissan was very competitive (after significant haggling) compared to others on the market, I am not happy with the car or the way I received it. No floor mats (that is cheap); web description and window sticker clearly stated "keyless entry" but I was only given a single regular key (no key fob to open the doors or with a panic alert) and told that is what came with the car (I had to order a key fob for an additional $79); was told there was an owner's manual but the pouch only had a warranty and maintenance log for a Nissan Altima - no manual for a Versa Note (had to order that off e-bay, at my cost); glove box filled with trash, Hertz rental car agreements, and passenger boarding passes. Worse is the mechanical condition of the car. After 4+ exhausting and hot hours at the dealership, mostly sitting and waiting (I paid cash), on the drive home, I noticed a continuous, annoying whistle/whine - almost like wind noise, but when I rolled down the windows, it was worse (didn't notice on the test drive because everyone was talking and AC was on). Appears to be coming from the engine (possibly CVT transmission). After researching the internet (hindsight), numerous Nissan web blogs and forums complain about the Nissan CVT noise/whistling problems (along with several lemon car law suits) with remedies ranging from transmission flush to complete transmission replacement (warranty work has to be at a Nissan dealership, so another visit to another dealership). All-in-all, not a good experience, not a good car. More
