My wife and I were in the market for a good used car that would not brake the bank. We stopped in at Stohlman Subaru on our way home "just to look around". A few mintutes later I approached him, and we talked about the different cars on the lots. I told him my price range and he told me which cars were in my range. He then told us of some cars that had been traded in, but were not detailed to go out on the lot. We looked at these and found a car that we really liked. Terry presented a price we were very comfortable with. The rest of the staff were very nice, attentive, and effecient. The entire process took 2 hours. I am very happy with my experience at Stohlman Subaru. I never felt pressured or that I was being given a fast sale approach. We were looking for a car for our daughter to use at college, and had very specific ideas in mind as to what we wanted and exactly how much we could pay. The day after I first met with Mark, he called college, and had very specific ideas in mind as to what we wanted and exactly how much we could pay. The day after I first met with Mark, he called with a potential match for us. We test drove the car over next day, and the deal was done--at the price we wanted. When we asked if the car could be looked over by our own mechanics, they agreed wholeheartedly and made it very easy for us to take the car for the day. In all, the whole experience was quick, easy, and painless. When we are in the market for our next car, we will go directly to Stohlman Subaru and look for Mark and Terry. More

After dealing with a handful sleezy car salesman looking at you like youre just a bag of commission, it was a relief to finally find Raj and his manager Gus. Raj went above and beyond to meet my needs and made it a very pleasant experience to bay a car eliminating all stress. He was able to information gather, knowledge share helped me find the perfect car. I was very particular with the kind of car i wanted: style, color, interior, and features...instead of trying to sway me into changing my decisions like other dealerships, he came through with the exact car ive been looking for so i didnt have to "settle". Although he didnt have the car in his location, he looked online at the other dealerships inventory and made a few phone calls and had my car transferred the very next morning. I am also pregnant with my first child and he put tabs in the owner manual on how to secure your baby car seat!-its just so rare to find great customer service like that nowadays. As far as prices, i went in armed and loaded to fight for the best price-wasnt necessary. Gus the manager didnt waste any of my time knowing i had a lot to do that day, instead he offered my brand new car at a price i was very pleased with. He even printed out the cost sheet even showing the commission they would be making out of the sale. Thank you guys! I LOVE MY NEW CAR! =) More

She took her time to make sure we understood what each line was and how it was calculated in. This is the third car I've ever purchased and this experience was by far better than any I've ever had. There was no pressure from the sales team and everyone went out of their way to be helpful. It literally felt like we were in, out, and on our way. More

We were in the process for several days, as we checked out various cars (including elsewhere), did research, did test drives, got financing at our credit union, and had the car we chose inspected at our trusted auto shop. At no time were Terry or Mark anything but relaxed, friendly, and helpful. We also really appreciated that Terry operates with the philosophy of a small-town "throwback" dealer, where they know that good word gets around and they value doing business with locals. Although Stohlman is a large dealer with many locations throughout the area, Stohlman Subaru of Herndon is more like a family car business where you feel good about being a customer. More

We were treated like customers and NOT like prey. Next to buying a home, purchasing a car is the 2nd biggest purchase one makes. Most dealerships just don't understand this fact. Treat customers well and with respect and you will earn our business. My wife and I received the utmost respect and then some from Stohlman Subaru (Herndon location). If you are in market for a Subaru and you do not visit this dealership then you are crazy. If I ever buy another Subaru, it will definitely be from this dealership.
