Good Experience Bottom line, I didn't feel like I was working with a "stereotypical" car salesman. Chris was focused on getting me what I wanted and ended up having my car driven from a sister dealership in Rockville. I had done my research on the True Car Value and knew what the car was worth and what I wanted to pay. Chris was very upfront with the pricing and showed the exact breakdown without the stereotypical haggling "let me go to my manager" type song and dance. I will also say, that the dealership was very (and I mean very) busy both that Sunday and Monday with a lot of waiting around but was impressed that there seemed to be good teamwork and another salesman helped us with the test drive at one point so we didn't have to wait too long. As a side note - unrelated to my very positive experience with Chris - I will say my experience with the business office was an entirely different matter. There was loud music playing so you could barely think or hear him talk. It smelled strongly of cigarettes. Plus, while trying to sell me a package, the business manager said one thing but when it came time to signing the paperwork, what was printed was another, so I did not buy the service package and started the paperwork all over again. While I am very happy with my car and my experience with Chris, the business office was a different story. More

When we went to Stohlman Javan had all the necessary paperwork and documents prepared. Our purchase was expedited in one hour. Javan was extremely helpful and treated us like family. We will never do business with anyone other than Javan and refer all our friends and family to him and recommend even out of area aquantances to travel to experience his level of expertise and professionalism. After doing business with Mercedes Benz and recieving less than satisfactory customer service we were even more impressed with the manner of which Stohlman and Javan delivered. More
Very easy and stress free buying experience After getting some TruCar quotes, Chris La Porte was one of the first to reach out to me. We talked briefly about how I wanted to purchase the Legacy After getting some TruCar quotes, Chris La Porte was one of the first to reach out to me. We talked briefly about how I wanted to purchase the Legacy 3.6r limited. He was very easy to talk to. After getting some price quotes from other dealerships and talking to both Chris and his manager this past weekend, I was able to come to an agreement with them. I never felt pressured and as a matter of fact I was the one who was being more pushy in trying to get what i wanted. I met with Chris and he took care of the entire process from start to finish flawlessly including trading in my car. Chris and I have talked several times since then and he was readily available to answer all my questions without any hesitation. I plan on bringing my car to this dealership for service and will write a review on what i think about the service department at a future date. More

He was so very helpful and full of information, showing us the differences in the cars. We were able to make a very informed decision as to which one would suit us after spending time with Eli. Once we decided, Eli,walked us through how the controls worked for everything in the car. We have not had this kind of experience in buying a car before where you get to know what your vehicle can do before you start to drive it. It was extremely helpful. Eli is super friendly and easy to talk to. Ask any question and he will get an answer for you. Even after we've bought the car and taken it home Eli is willing to work with us if we have any questions about anything. We've never had the offer of so much help before we dealt with Eli. We were also very happy to deal with David in the financial side of buying the car. He was so very friendly and helpful in explaining everything finacial to us in an easily understood way. We would definitely recommend this dealership and it's helpful staff, especially Eli and David, to everyone who is interested in a Subaru. More

Amazing customer service! Ren first reached out to me a couple weeks after I had purchased my new car at Stohlman Subaru at Tysons. He offered me a $50 gas card, which was com Ren first reached out to me a couple weeks after I had purchased my new car at Stohlman Subaru at Tysons. He offered me a $50 gas card, which was complimentary to the Love Encore program—it’s a program to bring me back in to answer any questions I may still have about my new car. I wanted to schedule the appointment on the same day that my license plate was available for pick-up. Ren was very professional and accommodating—he immediately went to check on the status of my license plate and got back to me. I also had to change my appointment a few times because of work, but Ren was very patient and helped make the process work around my busy schedule. When I got there, he offered to install my license plate for me and to assist me with purchasing new frames for my license plate. Ren also took the time to answer all my questions in detail. He even walked me through how to use all the functions that I was not completely aware of. Overall, Ren is excellent—he really made me feel welcomed and helped make my experience at Stohlman Subaru an amazing one. Thank you so much Ren! More
