I would highly recommend requesting him the next time you are in the market for a Subaru. We started corresponding with Alan online. We had a particular car in mind and set up a test drive appointment. Alan had the car pulled into the first parking spot and was ready for us at our scheduled time. He accompanied us on the test drive and had a very specific route picked out so that we could test all the features of the car. Alan was very interested in making sure we were getting a car that fit our needs. We never felt pressured to buy from him, but after our test drive we WANTED to buy from him! We had already shopped around and had a completely different experience at another dealership (no one went on a test drive with us, we had to find our salesperson each time we took another vehicle out to drive, the salesperson seemed very disinterested in our business.) What I was most impressed with, was that Stohlman empowered Alan to negotiate with us directly; no hand-off to a sales manager. Alan was able to give us a fair price in about 2 minutes. It was incredibly refreshing to skip the haggling portion of the car buying process! In total from pulling onto the lot, to driving away in our new car, the entire experience was about 4 hours.
