I live pretty close to Stohlman dealership. I was in the market for a wagon-type vehicle. I've never owned a VW before but was considering the 2012 Jetta Sportwagen TDI. I contacted the dealership through www.truecar.com early morning of 12/30. I was contacted via email by Joshua Jay a few hours later on 12/31 morning. I went to see him that afternoon to test drive. I liked the car but they didn't have the color/options I wanted as it's a popular model. I made a deposit for one located at another dealership. That same evening (New Year's Eve), I got a call from Josh saying the car will be ready for delivery on 1/2 (Mon). I spent the New Year's and then I stopped by on 1/2 afternoon; I did some paperwork with Josh and the Stohlman finance guy. They beat www.trucar.com price and honored the email price (much lower than MSRP) without any haggling. After a couple of hours at Stohlman, I was a new owner of 2012 Jetta Sportwagen TDI. Here are reasons why I'm going out of my way to register on this site to review the dealership and Josh: The whole process from the beginning to the end was the most positive car-buying experience I've had - no pressure to buy and no games. Detail-oriented, straight-forward, down-to-earth and courteous are words that describe Josh. Knowledgeable about VW's as he himself is a long-time owner of one. I would recommend him as the sales consultant for anyone in the market for a VW. More

The price we were offered was the most competitive, by a tight margin, reflecting that he knew exactly where he had to be in order to gain our business. He did so intelligently and expertly. We couldn't be happier with our new 2012 Tiguan SEL. I initially requested an online quote through Stohlman's website. In 2007, I leased my first VW from Stohlman's, a Jetta, and went on the purchase the car with VW credit as I loved the Jetta (my best friend has been driving hers since 1999, and probably never will sell i and went on the purchase the car with VW credit as I loved the Jetta (my best friend has been driving hers since 1999, and probably never will sell it, ha ha). So this past week, late December 2011, I decided to lease the VW Tiguan after several visits with Nermin to discuss the features and benefits of ownership as I needed a vehicle that was a little bigger to have roam for my growing lab puppy -- I'd like to report that my puppy on his third try jumped into the back of the Tiguan and seems to love the big window, well at least he marked it all up with his nose and tongue anyway, ha ha. Usually I am not a fan of salesmen, but I promise you will be more than happy working with Nermin as he is engaging and really works hard to help one find a car that is the right fit, and in your budget, another bonus! More
