My husband and I had been looking to purchase a VW Passat TDI from our local dealership ( which will remain nameless) and actually ordered one. Four months later we were still without a car! We made the four hour trip to northern va to pick up the car. When we got there, I was pleasantly surprised at how friendly everyone was! This car buying experience was quite enjoyable. My wife first talked with Nermina over the phone and was very helpful. We were first looking at a Jetta TDI Sportwagon but realized that the Passat TDI was the same price. During the phone conversation we were given the price of a gas car but when we arrived at the dealership the mistake was realized in that we were inquiring about a TDI. They did discount the price for their mistake and we were happy. We are a repeat customer and we both were very pleased to deal with Nermin. He was not the "typical" annoying car salesman at other dealerships. He answered all our questions with patience and his knowledge really was apparent on the vehicle. The entire process of test driving the car and driving it home was a little over 2 hours. We were shown all the features of the car and even setup the bluetooth on my phone to connect to the car. The TDI Passat is extremely powerful. I used to own a '99 Jetta TDI with manual and the new Passat TDI with automatic would blow the doors off the older diesel. I am very impressed with the pickup! I am a satisfied customer who will visit again with Paul when my current BMW lease expires. Jack Smith is a service manager who my wife and I have dealt with for several years. I can't say enough good things about him. He uniformly explains in terms that we can understand what is wrong with our vehicle. He is unfailingly patient and pleasant. I can call or stop by with any question, and he will take the time to respond. I am in awe of his technical knowledge. Indeed, it is largely because of our very positive reaction to Jack that we decided to contact Paul when we wanted a new Jetta. These are two real professionals who are a credit to the dealership. i have met few folks employed in auto showrooms or service departments who compare to these gentlemen. More
