By contrast, Iman was respectful, courteous and patient with us. He was very comfortable to work with. We found a great car at a very fair price. We would gladly shop at Stohlman Automotive again! He worked to make the sale, but he never used the normal pressure tactics employed by many other dealers. I would have rated them a solid five except for two things. First, they took almost three weeks to send me the title to the vehicle...since I was military and needed to register the car in another state this was a bit inconvenient. Second, the trunk had been hard to open when I was looking at the vehicle and the day I took delivery the hinge failed. I asked them to see what could be done with service since a quick look on the web showed this was a known problem with Passats. Marcus said he would look into for me, but never did even after I followed up with him once, and then I raised the issue again when he made a follow-up call. We needed to replace a car that was totaled through an accident and began our search for a replacement. We spoke to Nora about the car, were very interested, but the price was a bit over what we had to spend. Nora helped with the price and we made an appointment to travel to VA the following day. My son wanted to get a better idea of the condition of the car so Nora walked around the car,took pix with his phone and sent them to him. Next morning Nora gave us a courtesy call before we left. Someone was taking a test drive in the car and might buy it, so don't leave for VA yet. He called back a bit later and said "Come on down!" We bought the car as soon as we saw it and he helped us with closing the deal. While we were waiting for some paperwork, I saw him call someone who was also going to travel a distance and leave messages twice to tell him the car was sold. I was impressed that he made the extra effort to reach out to the potential buyer, just as he reached out to us. When we got into the car for our travels back to NJ, we were very happy to see that the tank was full. Little things make such a positive difference. Received a tour of the service department and have a 90 day "well baby" appointment scheduled before I left the showroom. Drove off assured that it was a fair purchase and look forward to a long-term relationship with this dealership. More

On follow up phone calls, he remained helpful and responsive, ultimately helping me find the right car. Throughout the process, he was honest and not pushy. While I was happy to save some money on a demo car and think I got a good deal, I think with their sales rate they do not have to offer truly rock bottom prices. I had to return a few times to get the car in mint condition, but Stohlman agreed to all my requests at their expense and always had a loaner car available. While an overall ""great" experience, price and quality keep me from giving a perfect rating. More

I will stress again how they exercised patience with me because I like to ask a million questions so I have all my facts and not only did they answer all my questions, they were super friendly!
