I dropped my car off to get my clutch replaced and I was told that it would take about a week. I know having delt with stick shift vehicles for over 20yrs that it doesn't take this long. But since this was my new vehicle just under 3yrs old I wanted it to be seen by the dealer. Worst choice I ever made, my car was dropped off on Thurs. I Was told the parts should be there around Sat. I called for an update on that following Monday was told parts were there, and they would start working on it the following day. I called again on Wednesday was giving the run around all that day because the guy handling my vehicle was off. Never got my call back, then when I called 1st thing the next day spoke with the guy handling my vehicle and he apologized he is very nice and professional but then he proceeded to tell me my parts arrived on tue or Wednesday...I was shocked needless to say, due to the fact that i was told differently days before. It's been a week and I have yet to have my car back, for a clutch repair. I believe this to be unacceptable, this place should do better. I believe for the price I'm paying there should be better service and better communication and the handling of my vehicle and me, in my opinion. More

Never have I ever felt so disrespected then I have now here at Stockton honda. So badly that I decided to take it up BBB. ( see the screen shot below) I was told by Jerry my vehicle would be done by Thur here at Stockton honda. So badly that I decided to take it up BBB. ( see the screen shot below) I was told by Jerry my vehicle would be done by Thursday (today). Called multiple times was left on hold and told different answers when I was able to get someone. Was told when I got to the dealership that my car will not be done due to a delay on the parts being shipped. Not only that BUT when I asked for my vehicle back (Jerry) said “No , we have already ordered the part.” Not only is that disrespectful but withholding my property due to a part being ordered? Never heard of it. If I was promised a date on when my vehicle was suppose to be done and it’s not why was I not informed before hand? But only the day that I was promised it was done. Not only when I advised this to the manager did he say he has no recollection of this? Means they don’t speak to one another? Very unprofessional. The workers were giggling and laughing about my distress. Not only am I taking this up with BBB. But I will be submitting a formal complaint to CEO of honda of Jerry wanting to withhold my vehicle due to a part being “already ordered”. Would love an explanation on why that’s an excuse to withhold someone’s property More
Went in for an oil change and was handed the paperwork to sign. I looked and notice it was over 100.00. I asked why so much. He said it was for an oil change and a tire rotation. Just really bad business. About to give them their car back. They are horrid for trying to charge for something you didn't ask for. Really shady characters, other dealers have always asked before charging you for something you didn't ask for. More
Submitted my S2000 for a Check Engine light problem. Immediately discovered that the diagnostics fee when from $89 to $170. Diagnostics consists of attaching a reader to the vehicle's electronic diagnostic port, reading the code given by the system, and looking up the meaning of the code in the book. The service manual will then provide the preferred repair procedure and the required parts. At most an hour's job. The code indicated the primary Oxygen sensor was bad and I was quoted an amazing $647.09 for one sensor plus whatever the labor would be. Official Honda Parts sold online place the retail price of the Oxygen sensor at $402.76, or $244.33 less. Stockton Honda was not willing to lower their price to match the online "Official Honda" parts price. A code reader costs about $40. The code descriptions are available online. So if I had invested in the code reader and provided one hour of labor, I could have purchased the part online (just as fast) and had any shop do the work. The total price would have been closer to $594.32 with tax instead of $1,045.33 - a $451 savings. Price gouging during the pandemic has become standard procedure for big businesses. I won't go back to Stockton Honda. More

Unnecessary Attitude is not NEEDED I get my oil change done here every time i need it done and usually Jerry helps us. Jerry is always very friendly but this time, my bf dealt with Jose I get my oil change done here every time i need it done and usually Jerry helps us. Jerry is always very friendly but this time, my bf dealt with Jose. Let me start by saying that it took a little over 2 hours for a SCHEDULED appointment for an oil change. No other service was done. I booked my appointment online for $64.95. When I was checking in, she told me 69.95 which I thought was after tax. After waiting for 2 hours the lady at the cashier counter said $72 and that I can talk to Jose to change the price. I went to go talk to Jose and I showed him the online price for $65.95. He told me that I should have brought it up before I signed the paper and that I pay for what I signed for. I did not appreciate the attitude because it was clearly not my fault what so ever. Their system need to be parallel with their website. It was very unprofessional of them to charge me more than what I booked online. They should be on top of their website management. Jose did change the price back to 65.95 for me but I he made me feel like it was my fault. He should take some accountability and admit their mistakes. For example, “I apologize for the inconvenience. I will change the price back for you and make sure I report the issue to our online team.” I hope this does not happen to anyone else. More

What is the sense of making and appointing a time for service if you are not going to abide by the time asigned? This shows total lack of respect for your customers! Some of us are busy and plan our days according to our appointments we have set up. I have been getting my Honda serviced at this site for 10 years and have spent plenty of money here. I will not be spending anymore money at your dealership because I won't be back and my next new car purchase will be elsewhere! More
