This was such a pleasure that I never really felt the apprehension that I have always been plagued with during my 50 years of doing business with dealerships. Bruce was excellent, acting just like he was more interested in making and keeping me happy than in selling another vehicle. Tom was very friendly and well organized. The financial portion was flawless and smooth. I have dealt with Christie for years in the service department. She is an outstanding employee, friendly, extremely helpful and knows more about Honda vehicles than the guys who designed them. In addition, she is just a very, very nice person. I hate to lose her as my personal service advisor, but if you do not promote her to department head, you are going to make a huge mistake. She will remake the service department into her own image, and this will be very good for the customers and the dealership. She brooks no errors or maltreatment on the part of anyone. I would suggest that you assign Bruce to evaluate the entire sales force and anyone who does not meet his standards goes out the door. All of this from a retired plant manager with years of experience with people in sensitive and not so sensitive positions. Thank you all for making this a pleasant experience for both me and my wife. He has followed up with us several times to make sure we are happy with our purchase. Each time we have been comfortable with the finance manager, and this time was no exception. In fact, Tom was the best and most efficient finance manager yet. He was thorough in his explanations and answered all our questions. Monica, the customer service manager, is an incredibly talented person who resolved an issue with our payoff to Honda. This dealership is pushy ...Glenn was all right, I guess but after 3 hours when I got up to leave he insisted it would only be another 30-45 minutes. It was almost 2 more hours. I don't like night driving, the days are short at this time of year, and I had an hour drive to get home and it got later and later.(I did eventually have to drive in the dark for half the trip). In addition I was lied to about how much the CRV can pull: the general manager told me 3500 and it is really 1500...I was about to purchase a Subaru Outback and that really can pull 3000 so would have been a factor had I been told the truth. I did buy a new crv, I guess the price was ok, nothing great as I was underpaid for my trade in, (imo) but I'd never recommend StoM as a place to do business. I pray that the car is as good as my Honda Odyssey as I keep cars at least 10 years. I asked Glenn about the light going on when I open the door as figuring out how to do that on Hondas has been a problem for me and he said just turn the light on, which was wrong...if I do that the light stays on so I have to turn it off but I know there is a way to have lights go on when you open the door and he should have answered that question correctly (I still don't know how but will eventually figure it out). Right now one of the "idiot lights" is not going off so I may have to go back for service on that...one day old...yuck More
The staff (John, Kel, and Tom) are very respectful and accommodating during and after the transaction. Although it took 4 hours of hard negotiation, John was able to keep his highest level of professional accommodating during and after the transaction. We ended up with a great CRV with a "good" price because some of the accessories I would like to have didn't came through with the price I wanted, but the APR that Tom was able to get was excellent. Please continue with your professionalism and I will definitely recommend your dealership. More
These people are rude and pushy. We went in to just see what they had. We looked at a few of the cars and didn't like any of them. But the sales man wouldn't stop hounding us.
